So I got a 80gb Raptor today WD800ADFS
and my computer doesn't recognize it nor does it function.
I am running ECS Nforce3-A (Nforce3 250 Chipset)
Amd x64 3000+
1Gb Ram pc3200
Windows XP
when I loaded the RAPTOR, my computer just wouldn't read it or recognize it
Only after I installed another drive could I get it into the WINDOWS Setup to install but even after that, it was still not working
The bios says that it is enabled and all of that but for some reason it isn't loading.
Regular caviar se sata hd is being recognized but not the RAPTOR!
I found a couple websites talking about it, but most resolved issues by copying from one drive to another...but I do not have the software they use

So for those who read, here is a joke that I find hilarious
A guy is waiting at a terminal waiting for his plane and sees a bombshell blonde sitting across the way with an open seat next to blondie and sits next to her. So he starts talking to her and asks if she wants to play a game to pass the time.
She politely declines and continues reading her book and still not discouraged, asking if she would play "Who knows what", a game of trivia.
"Come on, lets play 'Who knows what'!"
"Uhhh, no thanks"
"Come onnnn..."
"Uh excuse me"
And as she packs her luggage to move to another chair, he blurts out
"I'll make it worth your while. For every question I don't know, I'll pay you 50$ and for everyone you don't know, you give me 5$. How about that?"
Intrigued she sits down.
The man begins, "How far is the Earth to the moon?"
The woman not knowing, opens her purse and hands him a 5$ bill.
"Okay my turn! What has three legs walking up the hill and 4 legs coming down?"
The man sure he knows the answer to the riddle goes at it
1 min, 2, 5, 10 minutes pass and as hard as he tries to figure out the clever rriddle, he is stuck and opens his wallet and takes out a 50$ bill and hands it to her
The blonde decides she's had enough and gets up to leave when the man asks intently,
"Hey what was the answer to your riddle?"
And as she is standing up, she opens up her purse and hands him 5$ bill"
