Rare footage from inside the World Trade Center on 9/11

I believe this is from the footage that was shown in the 9/11 documentary, which I think some French guys ended up filming since they were in the area.

I've seen that footage before. It was done by a couple of French brothers who happened to be doing a routine documentary on one of the firehouses involved. They got seperated early on and had no idea if the other one made it out. They both made it, but didn't know it until much later in the day. The Discovery Channel did a full hour long special on the brothers and the footage they shot. Really intense stuff.

Yea, they were filming a rookie NYFD guy, and they just happened to be filming when this was going on. Looks like it was aired on CBS? I remember watching it...

yes it does look familar. I remember it.

they were filiming a day in the life of a ny firefighter. It just happened to be 9/11 when they did. It was two brothers hence we were able to see shots from inside and outside.

Yep, this aired on CBS first, maybe some others later. Amazing footage. Thank god they did not hit the towers on lower floors and later in the morning.

he is the guy who filmed the first plane hitting the tower. they were out filming a gas leak and the fire dude was pulling up a manhole cover. then they heard the plane, camera panned up and captured the image that changed everything.
