Rare, Medium or Well Done ????

Yukhoe is my favorite Korean food. Raw egg, pear slices, and spices with a few bottles of soju.

ah it's not even close to my favorite korean food, but it was pretty good when i had it. soju is my second favorite alcohol though

I think he means that medium rare gives the best texture and flavor of the actual steak itself. Based on what? popular opinion, the worlds top chefs, who knows, but I know I've had steak everywhichwaybutloose and I prefer medium rare to all other styles.

If you like steak well done with A1 all over it, you don't like "steak" you like A1 on overcooked meat

i love it. Jokbal and samgyeopsal are probably my second favorite. Although I did go to a restaurant in Seoul that served just tuna that was amazing. Every cut, plus eye scrapings in soju. :biggrin:

I'd find anyone hard pressed for anyone to disagree with me over that statement. Notice how I never said anything degrading about anyone liking it in any other style other than my specific well done with A1 example though?
