I'm rather surprised that 24% of republicans put Fox at the top of the fake news list. I wouldn't have expected that.

We both know that intelligent Republicans do exist. That 24% can further be subdivided into two categories:

The Republicans that believe their party has drifted into insanity and are holding out hope that they will come back but their lawful personalities prevent them from ever becoming Democrats.
The Republicans that know they are peddling snake oil and are willing to admit it anonymously but would never admit it publicly.

The ratio of these two groups is roughly 1:1000

You shouldn't do that. The more absurd you find people who are able to see reality better than you can, the harder it will be for you to penetrate your delusional state. It's not anybody's fault that you rationalize away facts that are emotionally disturbing for you, especially not your own. You had to do that to fit in with the pressure you were subjected to, to conform with the delusions of the folk that raised you. They had to do the same so you can't blame them either. Adding up the numbers for MSNBC and CNN is about the same as Fox. I'd be surprised that many people felt it was fake news as so many more people go to Fox for their news. But whatever, carry on, it is lefter than left AT P&N after all.

All of those articles are only talking about cable news. Cable news is not the only news. If all you want to claim is that Fox News has more viewers than CNN or MSNBC, then you're right. However, NBC, ABC, and CBS all have substantially more viewers. I'm not sure what any of this has to do with the OP.

It's funny, when I was in the AF, every damn station on every CONUS base I was at had Fox on it (Germany had the USAFE network or w/e). Asked some guys on the shift I was working on why they always had Fox playing, response was 'they have the hottest chicks' 'so you watch this just for the females?' 'yep'. Until then I never understood the joke of Idiocracy's Fox News segment (aside from Fox still existing post-Idiocracy, that is). I got it after that day.
