Rasmussen had a mixed result in all elections for the past sixteen. It used to be used by USA Today.. who switched to Gallup. The problem with the Rasmussen polling system is that it overly weights certain areas which gives strange results throughout the year. Of all the polling methods, it is not the one with the most creedence. Polls to think about most:
Gallup/USA * Newsweek/NBC/Washington Post * Time/CNN * NPR * Zogby International * Pew Research * LA Times
Then you get to second tier polling systems, like Rasmussen, Statistical Surveyes, KnightRidder
Then you scrape the bottom with "flash" polls which are just complete hack jobs: ACJ, Merrian Research, Sevvis Studies, iPoll, Harber Int.
