Yes I realize this..but I also love meat in my sauce. I'm weird that way. My niece on the other hand will eat a whole plate of my spaghetti but there will be a half a plate of meat sauce afterwards. I just dump it back in the pot when that happens

Normally, spaghetti with meat sauce would receive a favorable rating of 7.2/10 from me. That picture is a solid 7.8/10, because sausage, but with .2 lost due to the apparent presence of cheddar cheese (WTF?). So let's say my answer is 7.5/10.

Though, any rating is actually making a statement to the quality of the parmesan cheese, if such a thing exists.

Also if you cut the meat and the fat in it you're not eating spaghetti with ragù anymore, the taste is very different.

Pasta with a nice home-made meat sauce is absolutely delicious. But don't use spaghetti, use orzo. And I cook my orzo in chicken broth for a little hint of extra flavor. Besides using lots of dried herbs and high quality ingredients - start with a bunch of freshly chopped garlic in a saucepan with just enough light olive oil to cover it, and cook it over very low heat for a while. Then use that oil as the base for your sauce. Cheers!

I've never been much of a fan of any kind of pasta dish.

I grew up in a very Eye-talian neighborhood in western Mass....and ate pasta products just about every time I ate at a friend's house. I never did develop a taste for the stuff.

That said...spaghetti with a GOOD meat sauce is edible. Just tomato sauce? :barf:
