I relized that Edgar Martinez is still available on waivers... I know the guy is up there in age, but he still put up good/decent BB, avg, HR, RBI, and OBP last season... and I def need help with average and power. Is he worth picking up? And if so, who should I dump for him?

My fantasy bible has Edgar projected to be - .289 avg, 450 ab, 131 hits, 65 rs, 83 rbi's, and 21 hr's.

Hmm... so do you think he's worth picking up at the expense of one of my other roster guys?

Why? He'll be ready for opening day and June is too far away for me to have him benched that long.

because Thome will hit a few dingers in april and then not much until July, at which point he will start dinging them like he is supposed to. He does this just about every year.
