I would say run BF3 and see how that runs, then subtract 10-15 fps that's probably how BF4 will run.

A sort of "custom" setting will probably be ideal for the 650ti since it has 2gb vram you should be able to enable the highest quality textures, but things like "shader quality" or "fx quality" (not sure what BF calls it) will probably have to drop to medium for BF4.

And btw... PS4 and XBone apparently are running the game at 1280 x 720. (just typing that makes me sick to my stomach)

Yeah that resolution is crazy low. I wonder if it's possible to scale it based on your tv.

That is the whole point of a console, you get a very specific set of hardware that delivers a known performance level and the developers can choose the best trade off of settings. In this case they have chosen 720p, likely due to the fact the consoles are basically mid range PCs with quite poor performance CPUs. The selection of graphics is something you don't find on the console and its something most console players do not want.

I will probably try it on my pc too when prices drop. My friends will be getting ps4 so I got the game for that first.

My core i5 running stable oc at 4.5 with 7870 (slight oc) No increase of voltage.

I have a regular 7850 2GB card. What CPU do you suggest I get? I am thinking 4670k? or maybe 4770k? Remobz is offline Report Post
