As always, it would be a good idea for you to fill out the answers to the sticky at the top of the forum.

Generally speaking it looks pretty good, although you're overspending on the motherboard and power supply I would say. Tough to tell for sure without a link to the site where you're buying the parts.

That comes out to about £1100 for what is basically the standard i5 3570K + GTX 670 machine. We can do a lot better for you on that budget.

All prices include VAT:
i5 3570K £179
Hyper 212+ £19
GA-Z77X-D3H £103
Corsair DDR3 1600 8GB £31
XFX 7950 3GB Crossfire £440
Samsung 830 256GB £139
XFX XXX 850W £86
Corsair 400R £86
Total: £1083

I left out the HDD since you didn't list one either. Needless to say, 7950 3GB Crossfire will be quite a lot faster than a single GTX 670.

thanks for the update.

the XFX 7950 is coming up at £220??

I was think of getting the Sapphire HD 7970 VAPOR-X GHZ Edition 3GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI

Could you please explain why you propose the GA Z77X rather than AsRock?

More RAM, more storage, less PSU(whatever are you doing with all of those 850 watts... unless you plan on SLI later).

Yes, if you follow the link you will see that it comes out to £219.35 each.

Not a good idea because then you could only afford one card.

All the features you need (overclocking and x8/x8 PCIe) for less money.
