I have combo deals for the CPU + mobo, case + HDD, which provide a $30 savings off of combos.
The main purpose of this computer is AutoCAD and 3d rendering in 3dsmax. For that reason, I've opted to pick up the workstation video card. The Quadro offers CAD optimized drivers, and superior performance for the tasks I need. Not interested in gaming. I'm mainly interested in getting insight from a building perspective. Is this everything I need? I think I have to order two SATA cables for the hard drives. Is there anything else? Will all of this run well together?
Is the SSD a good one? The reviews seem great, but it looks to be an older model. I know the i7 is overkill, but I want to make this thing future proof and powerful for my cpu-intensive tasks.
Thanks for input.
