Some suggestions:

Put a little synopsis of each machine like the one trygve has above (or is that what the description field is?). Or perhaps break it down into stats. Memory, speed, overclock, monitor, liquid helium/nitrogen cooling, etc.

Put the rating options right there on the front page, and have it advance you to the next picture.

And, probably most of the people that you are targetting to frequent this site probably have 20,000x16,000 resolution but at my res i can't see the whole front page for the computer, and especially the rating window I have to scroll for. I think a much more compact one would be sufficient unless you have visitors from florida.

I really REALLY hate those beveled title "buttons". #1 they look like buttons, but arent clickable, #2 they're just made from photoshop tutorials that you can find around the internet.

The A tag hovers have got to go.

I dont think your "Visitors Online" display is legit.

You really need to add something like a system information section on the detail view.

If you're going to make this work, make the Rating available immediately. Dont force the user to click on a "rate me" link for every PC. Once you get a lot of entries, it's just gonna be a pain in the ass. Also, after rating a PC, dont have it goto a page that says "Thanks for rating! Click here!". You're forcing too many clicks.

I should take some new pictures of my computers and work area anyway. The first thing that came to my mind when I pulled up the site is that I'd like to see more than one picture for a given system: one might be the desktop area, another would be the case exterior, a third would be the interior, etc. You might have it start out with the main picture for each system as it is, but add a row of thumbnails underneath it and when you clicked on one of those, the large picture would be replaced with the one whose thumbnail you'd clicked.
