Yea. Clearly it's horrible and indefensible.
Disagreeing with NFL decision doesn't change that of course.
Physical abuse is striking and easily seen, emotional and other abuse goes on in relationships as well and can be as or more damaging than a single punch. The two will need to work it out, up to them. Unless the NFL wants to start putting into contracts how their players must treat their wives, I don't like what this precedent sets.
This BS about her being weak b/c she's defending her husband. Don't get it. Takes strength to speak out against it and against the NFL publically. She also calls out the NFL for exactly what it's doing, submitting to ratings rather than any real concern over domestic abuse.
I think she's smart enough to know that doing so meant she'll take a lot of heat and BS from holier than now idiots with no idea what she's gone through.
Rice's appears authentic on it, let him recover from it. Banning him made the situation worse, wife thinks so as well.
