Stop hitting them. They were injured and he had 2-3 co-workers and several customers that could assist if needed. They were never a real threat to anyone, the threat of a metal rod alone would have made them run out of the store. The beating was pure adrenalin and instinct, of course it was instinct of a convicted murderer.

The best way to stop people from acting like wild animals is to stop treating them like one. The way some of you are cheering about people being beat on the floor make me think you see the color of the skin and your personal bias takes over. If these were pretty upscale white woman being beat by a black man your tune would change,as would the courts.

Bullshit. I wouldn't change my tune one bit and neither would the courts, the case was clear cut and dry, he committed NO CRIME. He feared for his life and may have saved it. I'm cheering for him because it was such a clear case of self defense which I strongly support.

And you need to watch the video, he only hit them when they tried to attack him again (by getting up). At that point they were still a threat and he could reasonable assume by their prior actions they were coming back after him.

Here's how lethal force could be applied, I shoot you and knock you down, you get up and take one move in my direction or act like you're reaching for something, I'm shooting you again, even if you're on the ground. Know why that is legally allowed? You're still a threat and I feared for my life. You can apply this exactly to how this went down.

Even being unarmed, that doesn't prevent them from stomping on someone's head and killing them. Clearly they were extremely aggressive. Would YOU want to fight against both of them with nothing but your hands?

Even if I did have a weapon I would stop when the assailant was down. He continued to bash them with the rod long after they went down and to the shock and horror of his co-employees and customers.

Do you not hear people screaming "Stop it!" over and over? He continued to beat them long after the threat subsided. Do you understand how much force it takes to break and arm, especially on a bulky person like the woman in the video?

Rayon McIntosh is a violent felon who murdered a 17-year-old, shot an 8-year-old and spend the last decade in prison with fellow murderers and rapists. Nobody should be cheering this guy on. The guy will undoubtably kill again. Let's not cheer him getting off because it's at the expense of someone else's life.

Note how the women started this crap by verbally abusing the employees and then throwing the first strike. Note how it was the two women jumping over the counter and not him. Note how he retreated and they advanced. The Grand Jury saw all of this too and acquitted him. It was the instinct of someone protecting himself. I would have kept swinging until they dropped too. If he wanted to murder them, he would have kept beating their fallen bodies but showed restraint and stopped. He only resumed striking them when they tried to get up and he put them back down again. What do the 2-3 coworkers and other customers have to do with this? The girls were attacking him and not them. But after all of this, somehow the man is a cold-hearted blood-thirsty murderer.

Ok so I guess the fact that we are glad for the man who laid down the beating, who appears to be black in this case makes no difference either. :hmm: So if we are going to be racist and start referencing our own personal biases here, then to answer your question, I would think "pretty upscale white women" would know better and wouldn't act like these two ghetto animals did and provoke a beating that was deserved.

I saw him strike the woman trying to get back up. he did pause once the women were both down. The women were still threatening him by trying to get back up and possibly continuing the attack. The woman who was screaming "stop" is not being attacked and her opinion or screams have no bearing on this.

And this was not the first time those two woman flipped out for no reason and tried to bully others like that. Maybe it will be the last? If so +1 for our society.

Did you read the article or watch the video?

He told them to stay down and they kept getting up.

Not sure why people is bringing this up since it's irrelevant. Not only are the women equally as violent with their own history, if anything he showed quite some restraint being ex-convict for manslaughter. If you jump the counter and get smacked down, you stay down until you get hauled off in cuffs. If he was a cop instead and tasered them, would it be overboard if he continued to taser them if they tried to get up?

And undoubtedly kill again? Wanna give me next weeks lottery numbers too?

Like every other Internet discussion, people spout all kinds of black and white macho BS. Carry on with your rabid dehumanizing borderline racist discussion. Sure, everyone deserves to beat beaten to a pulp. I mean if a woman was trying to stand up, by all mean crack her skull with a metal rod. It was obviously a life or death situation for this guy. Self defense right? I was in no way defending the women, both parties were at guilt. There is a reason a customer was yelling to stop and the co-worker was trying to hold him back, he went over the line. If you can't see that you are equally as scary as the people in the video.

We sure have come along way since the days of tribal warfare and cave dwelling.

With Rayon McIntosh you already have the first five numbers.

If you think a murderer who spent 1/3rd of his life in prison is not a threat to society you need to check your bleeding heart at the door.

From a couple of unarmed woman half his size? One punch to the gut or head would have taken either down. Beating them relentlessly while they were down with an iron rod was way over the line.
Run what you brung, improper English and all.

I would agree that he may have the propensity to re-commit but that's immaterial.
"Over the last 11 days the the grand jury considered the evidence and voted to dismiss in the interest of justice," Assistant District Attorney Jamie Mendoza said. "We ask Mr. McIntosh be freed."

You should take some time and learn what the law actually says. If you eve find yourself in a hairy situation and follow your own advise you may end up spending a long time prison.

Why? For instance if I was coming after someone, I'm not stopping until I'm stopped. What you perceive as enough force to end a threat may or may not be correct and it may or may not differ from my own interpretations of what is enough force to end a threat.

A threat ends to me when I know the person is incapable of acting in the way they were so choosing to do. If this requires breaking necks or killing people, well that sucks because I don't ever want to have to do anything like that. I quite enjoy being a peaceful and pleasant person. It is the very reason I would go to such lengths to protect myself.

he actually knows what the law says for his state.

And I know what the law says for my province on this matter. You lay a hand on me at work or even take a swing and miss me while I am working and you are basically done. I can use any force I reasonably feel necessary to get you out of my face and the store. I posted a thread on this exact issue that happened to me 2 years ago. No cop here is going to take seriously anyone who attacks a fast food worker when they get their ass handed to them. My co-worker was assaulted while at work and he had a bread knife (18 inches long) in his hand and didn't use it. A cop later asked him why he didn't use it. My co-worker thought it was illegal to do so. The cop told him there would have been no problem as it was self defense.

Why is he even out of jail then? Because he served his time. You're a piece of shit you know that? What kind of whacked out fucking shit is going on in your brain?

The guy is a piece of shit and will end up back in prison soon enough (he just got off a ten year bid for murder BTW). If a person comes over the counter with a weapon I could see resorting to that level of violence but this was two unarmed women and he kept beating them with a metal rod long after they went down. That was felony assault, period.
Apparently it's really not. :whiste:

Why is he even out of jail?

Prison over-crowding. There was a time murderers got 25 years. Not to mention the charges for shooting the little kid.

But, yeah, he commits an ultra-violent act six months after getting out. Let's honor him. You're twisted.

You continue to focus on his actions which were provoked by a two-on-one fight after he retreated and in a dangerous setting (kitchen with knives and hot oil for instance that can be picked up and used by the attackers). Yet you continue to gloss over and ignore the uncivilized, illegal (they were charged with criminal trespass) and threatening behavior the girls exhibited. So now, who is twisted?
