I know I can use it, its just that I currently don't have anything to use it with and while I know I could probably fashion my own makeshift battle light, I don't really have the time (nor true motive as I don't have any dire need for a light as I never really even play in the dark) to make one.
I've heard all sorts of rumors as to why Razer is late in offering the add ons. Their official stance, as it always is, is that they don't want to put them out because they want to make sure its above and beyond quality expectations. But then again, the battle light...come on, how hard could that be? The camera would actually probably require some decent driver work, but the light?
Heck, I guess my main gripe is that the Pro|Type keyboard at least has a functioning iPod dock...while I don't own (and never have) an iPod, you'd think Razer would at least offer an iPod dock add on for their Tarantula owners considering the Tarantula and Pro|Type are practically identical (much like the Pro|Click and Diamondback). It would at least be something...I guess its the untapped potential that gets to me, kind of like Sony with just about everything they touch. For example, when I think about how much they could have dominated with the Minidisc if they just would have let it exist as a storage format instead of keeping it locked down and try to push their crap proprietary agenda...but now I'm rambling off topic
