I'm almost the same, but I still go with the grain after the weekend. When I was younger I went against the grain because I could get a closer shave, but as you get older, you get more ingrown hairs that way. My hair now is like 100 grit sandpaper even hours after I shave, so if I go against the grain, I can plan on quite a few bleeding areas afterwards.

I'm curious to know how old you people are. I had to change my shaving habits as I got older, and I bet you will too.

LOL! Nice. My mom told me a story once about a guy that works in her office. He woke up one morning (he was like 27 at the time) and decided that shaving across would take FAR less time. He had a couple of paper towels on his neck and cheeks. HAH HAH HAH HAH!!!

BTW, this reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer gets his eyes worked on and then takes medicinal marijuana to help them heal. He shaves whilst high and rainbows shoot out all over his face. Priceless.

I go with, because I get razor bumps and other nastiness if I go against.

It just depends on your skin. If you're able to go against, it's a closer shave, but not everybody's skin can handle it.
