They might not get invited to Trump's next inauguration, if they were seen being there.

Oh, so this is a pleasant distraction from COVID-19. These people are a sickness to this country.

The notorious RBG was much beloved, particularly among younger women. I doubt Trump's pick will make them happy at all. Quite the contrary. Just one more reason to vote the deranged motherfucker out of office.

It's not that a lot of Trumpers are just misled or ignorant, they are nasty people. Sure both sides have them but on the Trumper side, it's an epidemic. Way more shitty republicans than the other way around.

Funny, they choose now to show they aren't hypocrites.

Maybe it's not as bad as we thought. Look at Trump's cases in federal courts, even with his own picks. Horrible track record so far.

Exactly. Like I said a few days ago, stuff on the docket in November won't have significant impact. Short term change which just get reversed by a dem Congress in February.

And most election lawsuits submitted by this cracker Jack team of his will fail.

I believe that in Trump's cult base, most of them would definitely turn on the ovens if they were ordered to and told they were full of illegals and socialists that hate America. And a noticeable number of those Trumphumpers would actually jump at the opportunity.

He has been a boon for lawyers all life. Not only do they like to get paid, they like the entire amount they billed not just an arbitrary reduction he usually does to get “his great deals” with his failed hotels and casino building ventures.

Not that Trump gives a rip what the majority of Americans think, but I'll drop this here for informational purposes:

The Post-ABC poll, conducted Monday to Thursday, finds 38 percent of Americans say the replacement for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died last week, should be nominated by Trump and confirmed by the current Senate, while 57 percent say it should be left to the winner of the presidential election and a Senate vote next year.

By 19 points, Americans think whoever wins the election should appoint the next justice.

By 19 points, Americans need to start voting for the clearly less dogshit party down the ticket. Not holding my breath of course.

Republicans are just the slimiest of the slime
Ted Cruz blocks resolution honoring Ginsburg after Tucker Carlson pushes conspiracy theory about her

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) blocked an amended resolution honoring the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Tuesday, objecting to language about her reported dying wish that her successor not be chosen until a new president is installed.

"All the kind words and lamentations about Justice Ginsburg from the Republican majority will be totally empty if those Republicans ignore her dying wish and instead replace her with someone who will tear down everything she built," Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said while addressing the resolution, which was introduced by Republicans in the upper chamber.

"That, of course, is not the standard," Cruz responded. "Under the Constitution, members of the judiciary do not appoint their own successors."

The Texas Republican also said in his floor remarks that Schumer "put forth an amendment to turn that bipartisan resolution into a partisan resolution."
"Specifically, the Democratic leader wants to add a statement that Justice Ginsburg's position should not be filled until a new president is installed, purportedly based on a comment Justice Ginsburg made to family members shortly before she passed,"
he said.
Schumer then said he believed "Justice Ginsburg would easily see through the legal sophistry," adding that Cruz turned her "dying words" against her.

Cruz ultimately objected to Schumer's proposed amendment to the resolution, saying it was "beneath the dignity" of the Senate.

So tell me where Democrats stated that they now accept this rule as the new law of the land and that they would abide by this precedent for any future similar situations that they come across.
As stated they haven't had the chance to go against the precedent set by the republicans... and the republican just went against their precedent...

So go find some other lame AF talking point.

Ah got it - so they WOULD have considered it the rule of law if they had the chance. Sure. Right. Oh yeah, totally.

Even though there is ZERO records - recordings - or any admittance from the left saying that they now accept this as a rule - but there is TONS of documented footage of tons (if not 50+) of high-up democrats saying that a SCOTUS should always be appointed ASAP.

Do you tell yourself shit like that in the mirror and honestly believe yourself for half a second? It's quite comical that you guys have your heads that far up.
