I posted about this before, thought I had a solution, but now it turns out that I'm still experiencing the same problem.
My client machine is on a small windows network that uses ZoneAlarm for a firewall and AnalogX Proxy as a proxy server. The proxy server is connected to the internet with a cable modem.
I have my client configured to connect through the proxy with HTTP protocol. I have used both proxy.teamanandtech.com:2064 AND proxy80.teamanandtech.com:80.
What happens is that sometimes I'm able to connect to the anandtech pproxies and sometimes I can't. When I've been having trouble for a while with one address, if I change to the other I can connect and fetch/flush. Often times I'll get an error that talks about "handshake integrity". Once in a while it will simply say that I can't fetch and that I can't flush.
Can someone explain what might be causing this? And why does switching from proxy.teamanandtech.com to proxy80.teamanandtech.com temporarily fix the problem? (until I have it with proxy80 and have to switch back to proxy.teamanandtech)?
Thanks!
