Not a bad deal if you need big and cheap HDTV for the bedroom. Please do not compare this and say DLP is better unless you can link to a place that has a DLP set anywhere near this price.

and why would anyone need full HD? aren't the tuners you get from Comcast or Dishtv/DirectTV just as good as anything they'd put in the TV's? it's not like comcast or directTV is doing the HD ready thing where i don't have to get their box and i can plug directly into an hdtv.

afaic i prefer the hd ready. why pay for a tuner i won't use?

pc monitors are not 16:9 ratio.

last i checked anyway. i know some laptops are but most pc monitors are not.

Nice price, but RCA makes some of the lowest quality TVs on the market. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. It might be better to take a smaller but higher quality brand over this one

This tv is not bad at all. Im at my inlaws house and Im looking at espnhd on it and it lookws pretty awesome. I saw sharktales on it last night as well and it looked perfect with that movie. dont believe all you guys read, its a killer deal.

I have basically this same model that I purchased 18 months ago. A few minor differences explain the slight change in model number. However, I've had no problems out of mine, and the HD picture quality looks great with a good source. No matter what HDTV you buy, the picture will look great. It's the source of the HD picture that you need to be concerned about.

For this price, it's a deal.

Hey everyone, I went to BB to look at this TV today and it looked really dark compared to the other TVs (couldn't turn it up). Also, there were a couple of returns on this model.

Don't mean to thread crap, just an FYI.
