I have delved deeply into the details of this particular situation. I can assure you that the father is not a "caring father". He is using his son as a weapon to punish his ex.

I've been the Dad in this situation and this one is not like that.... This boy belongs with his Mom, WANTS to go with her, and will most decidedly be better off with her 9and away from the father). The father has on numerous occasions threatened to murder, cut up and dispose of both the mother and the child....

Slahr Dzhe - Cool! Thanks dude....

mech - I don't have the exact figures, but it's looking like we will make it, if it keeps up at this pace!!

I guess I'm just a sucker for no tax and free shipping.

Here's to you, Jennifer! A donation in honor of a wonderful group of people, Team Anandtech.

Clay,

When I check my order stats it still says 'pending' because no shipping or tax has been added. When you have time please verify that you have payment for my five coolers. Thanks.

I just thought I would at least say something. Since School has drained me of all cash. I am sorry I couldn't help with the financial part. But I thought I would at least pray and wish for them to be together. Send my wishes....

Sorry, I slept in a bit this morning and just finished my workout....

I have updated all the new donations.... I don't have any numbers, but it's pretty clear we will make it if the trend continues.... We absolutely would NOT make it without Team AnandTech!!!

I love you guys! <sniff, sniff>

For all of you who have been able to give so far, thank you so much....
And for those who want to but just can't, a kind thought and a prayer can be just as helpful!

Thanks y'all... Let's take this thing to the limit now....

Good to hear from you Clay! I needed a couple generic coolers as well. I'm going to look around and see what else I can replace with these awesome generic coolers. I figure I will need a few more.

Clay, as I came to this place to late to get to know you, we're "strangers". However your story moved me and I want to donate... I've got one little gripe tho'... is your site secure? I may be too paranoid here, but I'm extremely careful with that kinda information (CC #, real name, stuff like that...)

I hope you get where I'm coming from here, can you give me some peace of mind before I send my personal information across the internet?

TwoFace - TA members are NEVER strangers! We're all a big family!!

Yes my site is secure.... The checkout pages use 128 bit encryption. Only I can access the CC info for processing. And all the donation orders will be deleted from the dbase as soon as they are completed. The only thing YOU have to do to make it a completely anonymous transaction is to unchech the "newsletter" blocks during checkout. No sensitive info is transmitted unsecure....

Brad.... thanks dude!

Clay, I agree we're not strangers in the usual sense, that's also why I've added my part... Thanks for giving me peace of mind!

Now to figure out where to use those generic coolers... hmmm crack rack anyone?

I hope Jennifer and Reed can stay together!

Take care

Two Face, Brad, et al....

Just a reminder.... The "Generic Coolers" name was just a name I gave for a donation right? That's why the picture is a picture of Jennifer's son Reed! Just don't want to confuse anyone, OK?

Thank you TwoFace.... Your support is greatly appreciated!

Hope those four help.

Imagine if we could get some generic socket-TA processors to. I here they really kick in all distributed projects when involved for the team. hehe

Good luck.
