my uncle is a sped teacher, too. he has some good stories, as well, although in the end it all just kind of makes you sad. knowing my uncle, i can accept that this woman could write that but still actually love her kids and be a good teacher to them.

Angelo was walking towards the coat room today, when he clipped one of the classroom tables with his hip. Feeling slighted, he cursed at the table and swung his leg to kick the corner he'd bumped into. He missed the table leg by inches and sent his foot smashing into the underside of the table. He screamed and bent down to grab his toes, banging his head against the topside of the table.

At this point Angelo started crying, fell on his butt, and started trying to take his shoe off. He leaned forward to untie his shoe and hit his forehead against the edge of the table. After this he just curled up into a ball. I have never seen a tard lose a fight with an inanimate object quite as badly as this.

My tards usually aren't very adept at thinking for themselves. They tend to mimic. Occasionally you'll find that one of them does something the others view as "cool" and they all start in copying it. Unfortunately what that one person does isn't usually cool, in fact it's usually retarded.

No, here's the whole history (from someone who read it back when it was ONLY Riti Sped):

If you ever read Tucker Max's site (it's down right now), the person that runs the two sites is the same person. In fact, some of his old stories include Riti Sped. He even had pictures of her on there (I don't think they showed her face, though). Anyway, Riti Sped couldn't handle Sp. Ed. teaching anymore, so she moved on. For awhile they were looking for another teacher to fill the role, but nobody would take it.

Finally, this other woman took over and posted a ton, but then quit. No word on what happened to her. She didn't officially quit, she just didn't post any more. No word on whether or not they were looking for a new Sp. Ed. teacher.

I spent four weeks working in a school for kids that got kicked out of normal public schools (and saint louis public schools are hard to get kicked out of . . . ).

They weren't retarded (they were probably all ADD), but in my classroom (9-14 years old) only three or four kids could read well, even less could do math, regular fistfights, etc. etc. It was an experience, and sounds alot like this woman's job. I couldn't do it as a job.
