OKAY WHINERS... This STARTED as a hot deal and evolved into a political discussion due to the original title of the thread and the deal that was offered (a paper shreader). The mods have apparently kept this open because it has ALL stayed in the original thread and not branched any further.

SECONDLY, go put your head back in the sand. Folks who whine about the healthy exchange of political debate are one of the causes of the degredation of this great country. Wake up, or go away.

The mod probably hasn't read through all the BS in this thread, and that's why it was kept alive. If you want to discuss politics, discuss in OT. You will be more than welcome there. This is the HOT DEAL forum, and I believe most of us are more interested in hot deals than anything. What a shame that as a senior member, you cannot follow the basic rule of this forum. And it all get started because the originator mention something about Al Gore.

Was the debates a love fest or what? Lehrer asked the canidates several times to clarify the differences in their positions after they basicly agreed with each other on an issue. Also just like to say:

Yhea, it was pretty funny when he started talking about how he was going to kill those three boys... He is absolutely right when he says ANY murder is a hate crime. All murders should get the fullest penalty regardless of motive... it is all the same.. HATE...

The ironic thing about Bush's statement about the 3 people convicted of killing the black man in Texas is that Bush is wrong. They're not all going to get the death penalty. Only 2 of them will. But I guess I'm being anal

fdiskboy, I don't mind the deficit between trade... just comes down to what country B produces item C cheaper than country A... just ends up better for the consumer. We get more bang for the buck. It is more efficient of each country's resources. As long as our quality of lives improves I am ok with another country selling more to us than we sell to them. I want total free trade between every country and liberal borders. The more this world becomes a single economic entity the higher quality of lives for everone overall.

Gore went to 'war' to write articles for the army newspaper. He came back and worked hard at using his own daddy's name to get him in to congress. I guess Al was a disadvantaged youth since his father was just a senator.

If you knew what you were talking about, Gore ran because he was asked not because he had his fathers name, and the reporters of the War had to go through the same Training as anybody else, and sometimes even were at the front lines and had to fire to stay alive, but yes even some reporter were killed doing there job.
And Gore admittied that he tried Weed during the war, Bush still won't talk about his drug days( i.e. Weed, Coke, etc...????what else???)
