Dear all,
You have already helped me quite a bit in deciding for a PC instead a Ps4 and what kind of components I should get for the budget.
Now comes a different problem, which is actually a chance.
A coworker of mine is getting rid of his XPS 630i which comes with the huge case and a 750W PSU.
My first thought was : I will just put new parts in the case and save 100$ or so to getter a better GPU.
However, I feel I should give the old PC some testing before risking putting in my new expensive parts.
For information , it will be (but may change):
Core i5 4690 with Asus H97, 8gb ram, Asus r9 280 DCU2T.
What would you recommend to test the PSU stability? (my coworker mentioned some random case when it would not start).
Is it s good idea to reuse and old case and PSU for new parts? Should I just buy everything new to get a longer life out of the PC?
Thanks!
