I agree in theory but I don't think the game could have ended any better than that.

I have no problems with the way the OT rules are now. Before they changed it when a FG could win the game, that was kinda cheap. But the way it is now, I'm fine with it.

Agree- I was ok w/ it before but do think the new system is better.

Tough, you lost the coin toss, now go out there and at least hold them to a FG and you get your chance. GB blew it in ONE play, that's on them.

The injuries were not the issue. The chiefs were just over-matched by a better team. The Chiefs were fools gold because of their very easy schedule.

And they lost to all of them except for Denver 1x with an injured Manning and a Steelers team without Big Ben.

Okay, but as you can see you didn't mention anything about who they beat... All you said was they had a very easy schedule. If that's true (which I disagree with), then Patriots had an even easier one.

If you meant most of their wins didn't come from good teams, then that's true... but it's not what you said and would be back pedaling at this point. It also doesn't change that KC had a more difficult schedule, regardless of how they handled it.

True, I'm rooting for Carolina but I have a bad feeling about that game. Last year all GB needed to advance to a SB was not to blow an on-side kick and Seattle caught a monster break when that goof-ball who's job it was to block tried (and failed, badly) to catch the kick. This year, well, we know what happened. Looks like "Beast-mode" has decided he's feeling "good enough" to play this week (well, he got on the plane anyway so we'll see)..

Anyway, letting Fitz open was a bone head move by the Pack secondary. But one also has to question how the Cards defense thought they would stop a hail Mary pass by standing behind Jeff Janis in the end zone. Didn't they see the Detroit game highlights?

I'm not positive as I don't have a DVR to check it, but I thought I saw the same side land both times. It wasn't a close up view though and it was quick, so I can't really be sure.

Premise: Roger Goodell is hurting the League by changing catch rule so often that the excitement at any given game is the wait for New York replay to rule as the greatest fans no longer KNOW what a catch is.
