There is a reason Toussaint was cut by so many teams. I guess they saw he was fumbler. That fumble cost the Steelers the game. I can't wait to get Bell back.

That was such an odd fumble though. The dude was being blocked then just kinda spazzed out and punched the football out. Looked like Toussaint was going to easily go around him.

Maybe Osweiler will be ready by next week. If judging by the answer to my question about how well PFM was playing ("____ isn't helping" is never an encouraging answer to that question) the Broncos are probably better off sending him back to the bench.
I was hoping Osweiler would start this game, and they'd hold Manning for the "closer" role like in baseball. Maybe next week. I think they got away with one this week.

Someone said do you watch the sport and I'm going to ask, which Bryant? Or, did you mean Brown?

Did you really waste your time typing this? You have a mind, try to figure what you think I mean. You're acting like no ones ever accidentally mistyped someone's name.

That's exactly what someone that's not versed on the matter would say. Kinda like Jedi discussing football :sneaky:

That's a pretty good burn, right there.

You mean last week where they should have lost or this week where they got blown out by the 3rd quarter?

this week? blownout by the third quarter?

in your logic, they blew out the panthers for 2 quarters.

which they did.

right, so you haven't watched anything outside of new england...er I mean Boston, where only true fans live.

my mistake.

yep, i want peyton to go out with another ring, but looks like it will be an easy NE win next week.

probably, but a lot of teams were hot going in (Pitt, KC, Seattle), and a some were stumbling their way in (NE, GB). But it's the playoffs. Hard to say.

NE gets the nod because experience...but I don't see them beating the NFC.

It's Sunday, so I'm going to give you grace on your stupidity and forgive that comment.

But honestly seeing how wrong you were re: the Pats v. Chiefs game, I wouldn't be questioning if other people watched the games.

Here was your so overly insightful analysis on the Pats v. Chiefs matchup.
You raised some good points, and I know it's been 25 games and a billion years ago that the two teams played against each others, but I don't think the Chiefs have as much problems covering NE's receivers as you'd think. Their defense this year is actually much better than last year's by new addition, and some additions by subtractions. Not only that, NE's O-line is in disarray, and KC can get pressure with 4 (actually, make that 3 https://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video/CYU8PuDUAAAlMXU.mp4). Gronk will be called upon to block a lot. And the Chiefs D isn't stranger to dink-and-dunk offense .
The problem with focusing on any member of KC offense is that they spread the ball out, someone will make play, that's why they've been successful. KC's run game is arguably much better than NE's run game at this point, so we'll see a lot of ground and pound.

lol, careful, your superiority complex is peeking.

Ooooh... i love ninja edits. Seeing that the Chiefs were injured in most of their important positions and suddenly the Pats just got all their players back, I'm going to give you another out on stepping into territory you have no clues about. So, don't start anything with me, please.

I'm done babysitting you around here and I'll leave the others to clean up your spittle from now on.

But just let me say: You've been the most idiotic poster in these threads for the year--and everyone else agrees.

Anyway, have a happy new year, Boston dude!

I didn't mention it as an excuse, I mentioned it to give you, the clueless, some perspective. I stated that it would be a good game between the two teams, and I wasn't wrong. Despite missing a lot of their starters, the Chiefs still gave the defending champs a run for their money in their own house. There's no shame in that.

Now, the Chiefs were honorable when listing their injured as probable, and the probables ended up didn't play. Unlike their opponent... I know you don't know a lot about football, but yes, injuries at important positions is a real thing, and teams' successes or failures depend on their players to perform at their max quite a bit.

Losing one or two players is OK, and maybe someone will step up and perform. Losing important players at seemingly every position, that's a different story. I now feel that I have explain to you about the salary cap and roster limit, but why bothered...

Like I said, it's best if you just drop this conversation and go argue about something else that you have a clue in.

Manning is the guy, and he'll be starting unless he's hurt again. He played a good game from what I saw, and his receivers let him down several times. I like Brock and he'll be fine down the road but we need veteran leadership, and Manning's ability to read the defense.

FYI, take a look at New England's injury report esp. those on IR. Somehow, you attempting to explain the salary cap and roster limit to me seems like it will potentially be hilarious. So please do.. lol.

But, we also must have watched differing games. The Chiefs were outplayed and outmatched from the beginning. It wasn't close despite what the score said.

OK, tell you what, why don't you tell me the important positions that the Pats were missing from this last game. Let's not use Belichick's injury report, because we know we can't trust it.

Yeah, Gronk, Edelman, Jones, Hightower, Vollmer etc... They're all injured... (In case you can't see it, I'm doing a virtual jerk off motion) Let's not get into the possibility of throwing the game against Miami so those guys can rest.

Sounds like a hater. The challenged calls were both correct. Only call that was missed was one delay of game that should've been called.

The Vikes game there were a couple PI calls that went against Seattle but then again they are tough to call in real time. Only the replays shown them ticky tacky.

Neither games depended on refs. I would say the officiating has been otherwise pretty good.

AB is considered by many as the best in the game, if you follow the NFL you should know this. Can I talk you into being a Raiders fan?.
