Ready for.. what exactly? What has Hillary ever accomplished in her entire political career that would qualify her to run the country? Honestly? The most notable thing that happened to her as first lady was watching her husband make a mockery of their marriage. Her most notable action as a senator was voting for the Iraq War. Her most notable action as sec of state was falling asleep at the switch while 4 Americans were killed then trying to blame it on a Youtube video.

Take away her last name and she would be an absolutely nothing candidate. I'm sure all those college kids who put Obama into office and are now working at Walmart and living with their parents are going to be falling all over themselves to vote for a crusty old Wall St. crony.

Ah, but you just said it: With her name she hasn't been a nothing. She's been in the spotlight for 20 years and the only thing conservative talk can come up with are faux scandals.

20 years with absolutely nothing to dig up is a pretty good background upon which to ask for 4 more.

We've got a two term president in place now that accomplished nothing and got the job. Hillary, on the other hand has accomplished a lot and I have several links in my sig that give the highlights of some of them. She is a criminal that has never been charged because of her political connections. She is worshipped by the left for it. They've never met a progressive they didn't gush over.

Bush dynasty, Clinton dynasty, it's all we've got these days. She'll be far too old for the office and we'd be hearing that if she was a Republican candidate but she's not, so she's the darling of the left. She'll be the first candidate that had a stroke prior to trying to achieve office that I know of.

If the left can come up with a transgendered female Hispanic to run, Hillary will be relegated to the bottom of the list. If not, she'll do. First black president, first female president. Progz like "firsts". The progressive criteria for a candidate is not based in qualifications, only feelings. Want proof? Look at what we have in office now.

Voting for the Iraq war + getting a diplomat killed under her reign are faux scandals?

I seriously doubt any of that disqualifies her with the general public voters mind.
Heck... I can go back to Nixon and beyond with presidents that were elected then re elected under much worse.
In the end the question will be, whom had the best PR running the show in 2016?

Nixon probably would have been saved if he had better PR behind him.
Ford too.
Ford's downfall was continuing Nixon's disgrace by granting the pardon.
You just cannot do that. You first need a lot of smart PR on the scene.

Bush senior's problem was coming off as too detached from the general public when he failed at guessing the cost of a loaf of bread. Remember that one?
Bad PR, plain and simple.
Then his infamous "read my lips" slip-up, at which he should have hired a PR man immediately.
Or fired and replaced if he already had one.
Bush #1 could have recovered. And won.

Every candidate elected or re elected needs the proper PR firm covering their back.
Clinton, Bill Clinton, knew how to play that game. He was the master at it.
Everyone knew Bill was screwing everything in the room except the lightbulb, and people still loved Bill.
Bush #1 lost to bad PR, and Bill simply by having the better PR.

If Hillary runs, her number one hurdle will be addressing that personality of hers.
The big "B" come off, if you will.
But then again, maybe it would take the first woman president to come off as a real "B" in order for voters to accept her as a strong leader?

Hillary's plus side? She is a woman. History making. American's L O V E to make history.
And the "B" issue? That could be twisted into a plus "if" she had the correct PR backing her up.
She should have been president in 2008, but we discovered when it comes to making history, race beats out gender. Especially when race is also male, as was the case.
Even old Bill's PR tricks fell short when race came into play.
Bill got a little distracted believing "former first lady" might trump race.
He was very wrong there.

If republicans wish to avoid the terror of 8 years of Hillary, they damn well better chose a republican woman to run in 2016. And not necessarily a republican black woman because the race history card has already been played. Thats old hat. Water under the bridge for the voter.

And PLEASE, do not even mention Sarah Palin.
A smart bitchy woman would out trump the retarded soccer mom.
As well as the x beauty pageant queen.

So the question to ask is, which republican woman would have the balls to run against Hillary?
Oh, and I can guarantee you, a smart bitchy woman would out trump the fat bigmouth male.
Fat male loses to bitchy woman hands down.
Sorry. It just works that way....

If Hillary is deciding to run, thinking about a run, she is doing one thing and only one thing right now. Gathering together the best in PR history. Ever.
Republicans need to first pick a woman to run, then address the PR gathering.
That is, if republicans want a chance in hell come 2016 against THE B.

It's funny through both this and the Chris Christie thread to watch the crazies on here update their signatures (nice job, boomerang!) and update their attacks for who they think is going to be involved in a presidential election THREE YEARS AWAY.

What's even funnier are these Hillary detractors talking like she's already won the presidency. And I can't really blame them because at this very moment, when looking at what Repub can actually defeat her if the election was held now, the results come up with a big fat zero.

If I were a Repub right about now, I'd be pretty nervous about that and the fact that a whole lot of Repubs were (publicly) absolutely certain that Romney would have won hands down in the last pres. election.

Hillary has made it clear she is as rabidly against the 2nd amendment as they come, I will be very disappointed if she gets far in the D primaries.

She is extremely likely to win the Democratic primary. It will probably not be close.

Somebody mentions Hillary and right away the swollen right amygdalas in conservative brains start pumping the fear chemicals they need to get high out into their brains. They all have pictures of Hillary and nuclear warheads and mushroom clouds taped to their eyes to stare at night and day. "Warning warning warning, we are in danger warning warning the RINO Christy must be resurrected as God. Warning warning, disaster is coming, mobilize and EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!"

"Conservatives" have no reason to fear the Neocon Hillary. She'd make a fine 5th term George W. Bush.

Just as Obama had to find out the hard way that messing around with 2nd A rights is like tap dancing in a minefield, Hillary has witnessed that first hand and will probably skirt around the issue until AFTER (and if) she gets elected. And even then, I think it's pretty well known by now that there are a whole lot of firearm owning Dems who really don't want their legislators monkeying around with this issue and that's something that Hillary will not ignore.

I love how the country keeps recycling the same names over and over and expects something different. Democracy, yeah right lol. Enough with the career politicians, she would simply mean more of the same.

That's why I don't understand all these so called liberals fawning over her. I like to win, but not that bad.

I seriously doubt Hillary will run due to her age and knowing the effects of campaigning could have on her health.

lol

She'll run and she'll win barring a tragic unforseen health issue on her part between now and Nov. 2016. She logged 1M miles as Secretary of State, after all.

I suspect she would win should she run and we'll have more of the same ole politics in the US without any major change.

She also experienced a fainting spell and not long after that she decided to step down from being Secretary of State. Are there underlying health issues? Who knows?
