I'm always half afraid to respond to threads about user ratings for fear that 30 or 40 people will all of a sudden decide to jump on the 1's for no good reason, which would probably prompt me to shut mine off. I truly don't want to be disliked here, even if I do post some complete nonsense from time to time

At any rate, mine's been on ever since I learned the option had been made available.

When posting in religious and political threads a lot like I do your rating will drop pretty low. Therefor I never bothered turning it on, as in those thread you only get rated by those who don't like your arguments anyway.
