Real time burning?

Anyone know if there is a way to burn CD's in real time. For instance, if i wanted to use a mic and record something on to a cd in real time is there a program that allows that, real time audio cd mastering...or something similar...i would assume with seamless burn link the computer shouldn't ever have a problem sending the data....any idea, btw my burner is a plextor 16x...thx

i dont know but i would imagine the problem is not being able to burn that fast but rather not being able to burn that SLOW. wouldnt it be easier to use simple tools (provided with windows) to save onto HDD and then copy srtaight over?

I doubt this can be done but who knows. But if I were in your case, I would use a Sound Recorder and then save it to the HDD and then burn it later. You can even even a regular cassete recorder and then just plug it in into the line in of the sound card and burn it to the CD. But for real tim to the CD, I guess you can try it but I doubt it'll work. The first question is how will you configure the burner software where to get the source file? From the mic input?

there is the posiblity of using directcd....but im still tryin to find out real time. I am pretty sure there are real time recorders for industry...but im not sure if i can make mine one...ideas?...
