It's bad enough that she is turning meaningful debates into silly squabbles over records, but what I have seen lately has been outright lies by her and her husband to try and smear Obama's name. This is disgusting, not what I wanted to see from the Democratic Party.

Obama represents the kind of change we need in politics. I was on the fence about who I wanted to vote for before, but after seeing Hillary's dirty politics I'm definitely going for Obama.

The Clinton smear machine was very powerful and effective in the 90s, why wouldn?t it work today?

she doesn't have to talk issues with her lead(s).

she just needs to apply pressure.

politics suck.

Because their opponent this time has the support and war chest to fight their lies.

You are not alone in those sentiments, which is why I think some people may be in for a big surprise on Super Tuesday, especially if Obama takes S.C. in a landslide.

That's the same feeling I got about Obama, he was attacking Hillary, but couldn't take the heat himself. It was embarrassing.

Are you people serious? Both Obama and Edwards were attacking Hillary all the time when she was far and away the front runner and she didn't respond. She only started attacking back when Obama got close.

Jesus people pay attention, this is basic political strategy. When you're way ahead you stay positive, when it's close or you're behind you attack your opponent. Obama does this, Edwards does this, and Hillary does this. Why? Because they aren't stupid and want to win. Hillary isn't turning meaningful debates into anything, they are all doing it and this will happen in every single election until they day we die because that's what works. Just because Obama talks about coming together before he attacks Hillary doesn't mean he's special.

Not only that, but what meaningful debates? About what? Hillary and Obama's platforms don't differ in any meaningful way. They are both for almost the exact same things. (ooohhh, Obama's health care plan is slightly less mandatory then Hillary's... be still my beating heart). I'm voting for Obama myself (or maybe Kucinich), but its because I think Obama stands a better chance to win the general election, not because I've annointed him as some sort of saint or because his policies are somehow superior to Hillary's.

Wake up people.

Might as well give up on Obama, the Hillary attack machine may seem bad to us, but the American sheeple will eat it up. Obama is dead.

It was disgusting how Obama was piling on Hillary. At least Edwards tried to be objective. Also, Obama never fessed up to the full extent of his Rezko dealings when given a chance. He certainly underrepresented his involvement with that shady character, considering they are in a real estate kickback deal together.

Yep, I don't get why people go oh and ah over Obama when it is abundantly clear he is just another Washington creature of the establishment, more or less a Hillary clone.

The fact that his last name isn't Bush or Clinton is a HUGE FREAKIN PLUS to the American people.

That and he's not an egotistical prick either.

Those sentiments were widely echoed about McCain not too long ago, and now look at him.

That last debate was the first time I didn't care for how Obama articulated himself, normally he's very concise and eloquent.

I like Obama, but don't give him a free pass just because you don't like Hillary.

they're all playing the same game.

It's not about liking or not liking Obama or Hillary as persons. Why does this keep coming up? I like my friends, but I wouldn't vote for any of them for President.

when people rake one person over the coals for doing something, while ignoring another person doing the exact same thing, I can only assume it's due to the likability factor.

Obama has to demonstrate that he can withstand the kind of scrutiny Hillary has been enduring over 20 years, because the GOP won't pull punches in the general election. We know their dirty tactics.
So if he is whining about Hillary and Bill are attacking him now, then frankly I just don't see how he can take the heat in the general election. Nice speeches are all fine and good, but they won't win elections by themselves, nor will they govern this country.
