Hello all. I've got an issue that I've never run into before, nor can I find any record of it in all of my googling.
Whenever I listen to music through realplayer, which is only when I'm listening to record samples, often there is an extremely harsh, high-pitched beep that appears at random times. I cannot narrow it down to any specific series of events or actions on my part, but pretty much every time I listen to a few samples the beep will appear. Sometimes it only happens once or twice a day. Sometimes it'll happen 3 times in 20 seconds. Really ruins the listening experience when you have to cringe and fling your phones off your head without a hint of warning.
The only constant is Realplayer, and I'm positive it never happened when I was using version 10.5Gold or whatever the latest version before 11 was. Obviously a fix would be to install the older version, but I'm fond of a few of the new features in version 11, and I'd still be just as curious as to why this version had a problem, so I figured I'd ask for your expertise. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
PS: Just in case, here's my config:
Athlon 64 3000+
Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra-939
4x512MB Geil PC3200
VisionTek X1950Pro AGP
74GB WD Raptor GD
2x320 WD3200AAKS
