thinking about getting the MSI K8T800 Chipset Motherboard for AMD. how's the sound? If it sux, any alternatives? This is my first build sos I'm a little ignant in the tech-talk department. Any help is appreciated.
Or if you spend even $19 on headphones. It's not that it's going to bad...just not going to be great, either.Originally posted by: Marlin1975
For most day to day things it will be fine.
BUT if you spent more then $100 on speakers or do sound editing using the input of thr sound card then you would do better to get a different board with better onboard sound or get a seperate sound card.
It will be better than most, but you should hear a difference between that Revo and the onboard. I have yet to hear onboard sound that can compete with a $50 (Fortismo III) soundcard.Originally posted by: carterarce
I'm looking at mobos with the via envy onboard sound. i have revolution 7.1 in the computer I'm using now.
