Reasonable 3dmark score?

I just got mym new system set up:

P4 2.4ghz 533Mhz
PC2700 DDR333 Crucial 512MB
Geforce3 Ti 500
Gigabyte GA-8PE667 Ultra

All clocked normally, 5400RPM 8.4gig main drive, and two 80gig 5400rpm RAID array drives.

I get about 7000 3dmark, 1024x768 32bit. Is this a reasonable result?

i get 5600+ for 3d mark.........

by the way......there are different version of 3d mark , which one u using?

on my system i get a 3d 2001se mark of 9500 or so. if you are using 3d mark 2002 then i am not sure if thats any good or not because i have never used it. first thing i would do however to make your computer work to its max is make sure you have all the newest drivers and bios installed. in your bios make sure your ram is set to run at 166mhz. Also make sure that your bus speed is set to 133. i have seen people leave it on 100 and that can slow down your cpu alot. since its a new system defraging should not help but if you have loaded a lot of stuff on i would suggest it. if none of this works there are losts of other setting you can fiddle with but try these first and tell me if its solved anything

I was using 3dmark2001 SE. I will try upgrading drivers and updating my BIOS as well as checking the hints you mentioned, Boris691.
