It was an unplanned promotion (at least the second $100).

I'm sure WD did not have an adequate promotional budget to cover this pgm. I'm pretty sure WD planned to stall until '04 so it wouldn't hit their '03 books.

My name is XXXXXXX and I am writing in formal complaint to protest the excessive delays in the processing of my rebates.

10/6/2003 500051668 VISIONTEKHFD RADEON 9100 64MB REBATE $30.00 TIGER

8/30/2003 11600069 GIGAFAST 5-PORT PALM-SIZE SWITCH REBATE $20.00 BUY.COM

Have both been processed for months now and I have received conflicting information about their mailing dates. The 11600069 rebate has had mailing dates in the end of October, November and December. The 500051668 has always been slated for December. As of today, January 3rd, all rebates are still listed as ?Approved, but not mailed yet.?

The last time I contacted your company, your operator told me that these delays are the fault of the vendors. Please be aware that I have contacted both vendors, and at least one of them flatly denies this.

I would greatly appreciate a FULL explanation, a timely response and my $50 before the month of January is over. My treatment has been unacceptable thus far and I would appreciate it if you would make steps to rectify the situation.

I purchased the Mag 19" LCD monitor for $430 AR at Best Buy on BlackFriday along with a APC UPS for $5 AR.

I've recently received post cards for both of them saying that "you have already submitted the maximum number of claims per household or the information that should have been unique to your claim matches the unique information from another claim".

The above is untrue. Any clue how I should try to take care of this?

- $10 from Staples for TDK 50-pack CDR spindle; 12/8/03. Typical Staples online rebate processing efficiency

- $30 and $60 from Gvision for a Koji 17 inch LCD from CompUSA; 8/19/03. This one took forever. And oh look it's CompUSA through the Phoenix center. I guess I should be happy it came in at all.

I am having problems with two Symantec rebates.

1. $40 rebate on Norton SW 2004 from OM BF, rejected saying invalid purchase date, when my order date was 11/29, and the rebate period is 1128-11/29.

2. $40 rebate from Staples on Norton SW Pro 2004, saying valid proof-of-purchase or UPC was not included, when they all definitely were (I have photocopies of my submissions).

Their phone line is a constant "on-hold" pattern. What should I do from here?

I just got my rebate check for $70 from Western Digital (bought 160GB HDD from Circuit City) and sent it out around 11/14/03.

I also got my $10 TDK 50pk rebate from Staples.com sent around 12-8-03. (pretty fast!).

There was a fugi cdr deal back in october. The deal was for 2 50packs of cdrs, each had a $6 rebate. They needed the actual upc & receipt(might of needed just a copy). Anyways, I register on the my rewards page, but I had a problem, since they wouldn't take both rebates. So I decided to simply follow the instructions on the rebate, & mail them out using 2 different return addresses. It's been close to 12 weeks, & I haven't seen anything. Since they asked for the actual upc, I can't re-send them, should they ask(would be too late anyway). Do the people at myrewards.info deal with all the rebates? Who should I call?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

I have had problems lately with Fuji saying they never received my rebate info. This was using their online site and just sending in the rebates. When you call them they will probably say they don't see your rebate and want you to fax them a copy of all your info. Here are the umbers.

About 5 weeks, but they orignally denied it because they said the date wasn't correct. One email corrected it, but annoyed none the less.

This one sucked. Took forever. OM and Parago combined are the stink. I'm having some other issues with an OM/Parago rebate right now. I think I'm going to avoid them from now on.

Does anyone know the customer support phone # for www.easierrebates.com ? They are used by OfficeMax to handle lots of OfficeMax rebates and I have one pending with them for a while. I used their online inquiry form but received no reply.

Had an interesting experience w/rebateshq recently. Called about a submission on the Kingston 256M memory I bought @ OM in July '03. They had no record whatsoever of the submission. I had copies of the original submission + a fax sent in Oct. They apologized but said their system showed nothing except an online submission for a shredder I bought from Staples. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She confirmed that they showed nothing in their system except the shredder submission. Here's the clincher. I had filled out the shredder rebate online but ended up sending the shredder back after I got it. They kept apologizing saying that the $10 shredder rebate check would go out in a few days and they were sorry for the delay, yada, yada, yada. They also said I would get the memory rebate check in 4-6 weeks. Said something about it would be shown as a different item but the rebate would be for $10 like it was supposed to be. So, a couple of days ago I get a rebate check for the shredder! Guess I'll get the memory rebate in a few more weeks. Go figure!

Staples- There online rebate tracking is the best I've used. One rebate hasn't come after 2 months so I called them for a resend. (Still waiting). Ive recieved others without problems though.

Office Max- Online tracking is useless since it doesnt really work. Only some rebates can be tracked for some reason but I couldnt figure out how to get any of them submitted online. Neither I nor my friends recieved any from Black Friday (day after thanksgiving, Nov). Hope there won't be any problems when/if I start getting them.

Almost all OM rebates can be tracked at either:

www.easierrebates.com (if rebate went to seattle)

or

www.maxmyrebates.com

As for the online, yeah, can't seem to do that, you can print out an online variant of the pcash.pdf form at maxmyrebates but it doesn't make processing any quicker since there's no rebate tracking number or info entered into the system in advance or anything.
