Maybe my grandchildren will receive my rebate from late December.:|

same here.. i have 2 from December and 4 from first week of January all of which have dissappeared into the bermuda
triangle of Parago not to mention one from Aiugust.

someone needs to call the police on this shit

either the employees are stealing the UPC's
or they are tossing them in the trash to reduce workload.
or perhaps some of the employees have an arrangement with management to share funds
collected from the manufacturers but denied to our faces

A couple from OM today. Looks like they're working in reverse. These are the oldest I have with them. More recent ones have already come back. Weird

"November cash rebate" - $5 for Endust (11/17/02)
"December cash rebate" - $4.99 for RCA VHS tapes, $2.99 for floppies (11/29/02)

Woohoo, just received Belkin canned air rebate, bought at OM and sent on 10/28. Online status showed valid and waited 4 weeks. Then no updates. Phoned Belkin and found out the rebate was not valid because they say I did not send in UPC. CSR validated request. Received check in 13 weeks. Definitely not the longest and better than expected.

On a side note, what the heck is going on with Rebateshq/Parago? Rebates are taking forever to show up, if at all. Are they subcontracting out to TCA?

I just recieved my Logitech Elite keyboard-Optical wheel mouse rebate of $20, which was given when you purchased them together. My only gripe is it took about 10 weeks!

I purchased some Kingston 256MB DDR PC2100 VALUERAM (KVR266x64C25/256-R) (OD Part #391809) from OfficeDepot.Com not long ago ($25 Rebate offer #02-53864), printed out the rebate, made copies, sent in completed materials. However, when I checked RebatesHQ.Com today, all my Staples rebates I sent out at the same time have been received and processed. So I decided to check on this OD rebate, for which I did not complete a RebatesHQ.Com form and only sent in the completed rebate, receipt, and UPC. Anyway, I looked up the rebate on RebatesHQ.Com and could not locate it. The closest thing I could find was a newer $23 rebate. I called RebatesHQ and they couldn't even find the rebate offer #02-53864 in their system, telling me it probably wasn't entered yet, but more current rebates are already on their site. The rebate I sent in was good from January 26, 2003 - February 1, 2003.

Anyway, I'm told to call them back Friday to see if it's entered into the system, and if not I'm to resubmit the rebate to a resubmission address in Coppell, TX.

OD pulled the rebate and has a newer one in its place now.

Anyone else sent in this same rebate with the same dates etc? Did the rebate center receive and process yours yet? I'm going to try resubmitting if it doesn't show up on their system by Friday. If the resubmit doesn't work I wonder if I can get OD to give me a credit back to my account for the $25 I should be getting.

Anyone know anything about the 20% money back rebate from MSN money? Sometime in Feb, they were supposed to give you 20% of your online purchase on certain stores back in december and I used that when I bought my gamecube, but they han't sent me any info on how to obtain that money.

Only thing I can say is, OD typically sells (2) 50pks of maxell cdrs. 650 and 700 min being the difference.

They never say which one qualifies for the rebate along with the product info for the item itself. Rather, having found the rebate in their rebate center, I look at the sku number that's eligible for the rebate, and do a "order by item #" deal and bung in that SKU. This way I know I've bought the correct one of the two 50 packs of maxells that goes with the sku eligible for the rebate.

You should try this:

1) Check sku number listed on rebate form you submitted and compare with sku number listed on packing slip. See if same. Perhaps they shipped the wrong item.

2) Perhaps they did a substitution, and sent the "other" 50 pk than the one listed on the packing slip.

2) Make certain you didn't order the wrong 50pk yourself, and buy the one not eligible, no disrespect.

Lil' update on parago and lost rebates, increased processing times, etc.

Just had a rebate show up on rebateshq.com for a submission I mailed at the end of december. About 7-8 weeks ago, and now it pops up. Not lost...just took 2 months to process to get entered into the system.

I have started seeing others I mailed in january start to show up now.....so perhaps they are getting thru a backlog from all the december offers wazoo that got mailed by folks in january?
