For a $70 rebate I got this e-mail...

We did not receive the 160GB 7200 RPM ULTRA SERIES HARD DRIVE.Original UPC for this product. Please send it to: ATTENTION RESUBMISSIONS, PO BOX 9013 Coppell, TX 75019.

The bad part is I sent them the UPC, i am positiive. Does anyone have a phone number or something I can call to get a hold of them, anyone had this experience?

Looks like they are handling their own rebate. Be sure to print out the contact website in case you have to call them about your rebate.

Can I just send in the packing slip from the box I got, or do I need to send something else in with the UPC?


And if I need to send anything else in, what is it?


The packing slip doesnt have any prices on it, does that matter? It just has what was shipped with my order.

You should receive an order completion in the mail form Dell within a few days. It looks like an invoice. I usually copy that and the packing slip to send in with rebates.

VooDoo: I'm assuming your talking about the Atlantis Desk that was 199.99 then clearanced for 99.97 then had a 100 rebate from express group. I've been checking express group Express Group Check Status but they don't show my rebate.(submitted 4/30). Did express group show any status on your rebate?

I checked rebateshq yesterday and saw that my kyhpermedia $7 rebate from 6-8 to 6-14 was invalid due to UPC. I emailed em and told them that I kept very detailed records and that I sent in a valuedisk upc, which was the same thing. They fixed it within 30 minutes! I've never had to send more than one email or make a phone call. You just need to play hardball with these guys and you'll end up on top. Just thought other people might have the same problem I did.

Has anybody bought any of the Microsoft networking products that have rebates through the end of June, to find that there is no rebate coupon in the box?

I got a Wireless Base Station from Dell and a wireless notebook card from Staples, and neither of them had a rebate from in them. The router had a $20 rebate and the card had a $10 rebate.

I called Microsoft and they told me that if it doesnt have a coupon in the box, there is nothing that I can do. Should I call back and talk with someone else?


I bought the products they have listed on their website in the time frame they specified and they wont let me send in for a rebate now. So any ideas as to what to do?

I believe that should be what you need. Or just go to rebateplace and search for microsoft, click on the wireless base station, and I HIGHLY recommend right clicking on the pdf file and choosing "save target as" so you can download and hold onto the rebate form as well as printing it out and submitting it. I've used downloaded pdf versions for plenty of MS rebates, never been a problem.

I am having a similar experience with an $30 80 gig Maxtor rebate. Got a postcard saying I didn't include the UPC. But I did -- I am very careful about these things. I sent them a letter saying I had stapled the UPC to the upper left corner of the original rebate form, and then sent them a copy of the UPC I had made for my records. We'll see how they respond.

Dell Dimension 4550 $100 rebate from April 2003

I received a post saying I didn't include a packing slip and that the rebate was rejected.

I went to Dell's Rebate Forum, posted a message about my situation. A Dell CSR responded and I received my rebate check 6 days later.

Definitely visit that forum if you have a problem with a Dell rebate or if your rebate is not listed on rebatestatus.com

I have only received one confirmation for the two $30 rebates for the 80MB drive purchased from a BM Staples. That confirmation was received rather quickly. It was the one I had submitted on the Staples rebate form that is printed out with the receipt, offer 03-57316. I believe this is true because I used another of my email addresses on the Maxtor 03-57312 offer. At the Maxtor site they redirect you to RebatesHQ so you can not do anything there. Earlier on the Maxtor site I was able to initiate a search for the 03-57312 but it seems to have vanished recently. However at the time I did they stated they would not respond to any submission that is not at least six weeks old.

I have not seen any postings to date confirming two confirmations.

The one of mine that's showing up is the Staples one and not the Maxtor one also...hopefully they're just slow with the second one and it'll be processed soon. So far I've received 100% of my rebates from rebateshq without a hassle...I'm still holding out hope this one will show up soon. But, thanks for the link if it doesn't.

As you can see from the following response Maxtor is going to force me down the the hard road to receive the second $30 rebate on the 80MB drive. I will pursue to the end or return the drive.

I just got my $200 rebate from dell!! This was for the 4550 system that had a P4 2.6GHz with 256MB DDR, 64MB gforce 4mx 420, 30GB 7200rpm, 4x DVD +r.

I sold the system and kept the dvd+r, so essentially I only paid $80 for a dvd+r drive!

For anyone who doesn't already know, TCA Fulfillment, New Rochelle rebate center, is the absolute worst.

I've sent in three copies of my $20 Viking rebate and still they "have no record of my submission." I honestly think they have a shredder installed between them and the mailbox. What is most frustrating is they don't take any information over the phone. You can call them fifty times and they don't keep any record of this. They are terrible. While many rebate companies have a way to get your rebate going over the phone, TCA only gives you the option of mailing the copies again and thereby spending 37 cents and sending your request into the black hole known as TCA.

Anyway, this was a Viking rebate, and I have complained to the NY Attorney General twice. I also complained to the California Attorney General.

Try here. You can either ask for help in the thread or pm the op as he is the CEO of TCA. You'll need to provide tracking number or other info so that the rebate can be identified. "My Viking rebate" won't be enough, I'm afraid. Oh, just FYI, polite goes a long way with him.
