Ok so I called rebatesHQ up and had them fix one of my rebates (it was a $20 rebate for the kingston memory that was supposed to be $50 for the WD 120GB hard drive). They did fix the problem but now it show a $50 WD rebate and a $20 kingston rebate, my question is, when will I see the other $30 mir rebate for the 120GB WD hard drive?

This is the rebate that hasn't showed up yet. How do I convey that I haven't received this rebate? because I don't see any promo codes or anything.

Just hang on concerning easierrebates. Just got notification from them on approval of said Mad Dog sound card and the 50 pk Fuji's. I did the Mad Dog via the online submission and mailed in the Fuji one. Both had docs mailed like around 4/28. Online status says recved 4/29 and 5/1. I guess it takes them awhile to actually rip open those envelopes and enter the info.

Awesome - thanks for the info! I sent in the Mad Dog one on May 18, so I have a while to wait on that...I just hope they got my Fuji info! I did that one online.

EDIT: My rebate was for the Prowler 4.1 card that began on the 18th of May - I mailed it out same day.

When I called RebatesHQ I basically went through the menu items as they applied, but I lied about the last one and said I had already waited 8 weeks. (BTW, it said my record wasn't on file) If you don't do that, they hang up on you. Otherwise it tells you something and connects you to a person.

I find it VERY interesting that we all had this Kingston problem. Mine was listed as that too initially, the Kingston $20 rebate. I don't know how they missed the capacity label Mine was taped to a sheet of paper along with all the rest of the required information. It wasn't that difficult for me to get this problem all fixed up, but it does smell a little bit of a scam to me. ALL I needed to do to change the $20 Kingston to the $30 WD and get them both validated was to give them the UPC number over the phone. Couldn't I just walk to the store and find that same information out by looking at the box? It's not a very good way to validate a purchase at all. It's like they are just trying to make it more difficult as someone earlier pointed out.

There is obviously some sort of issue, as just about every person in this thread that has mentioned the same two rebates on the OMax 120 gigger has had the same identical problem.

Has anyone else STILL not received their Maxwell $10.00 rebate from late February? My status was listed as processing until I sent an e-mail. Thatw as 2 weeks ago and still nothing.

The 8 weeks thing is really more to put you off than anything else. If I see my rebate show up as invalid online, I call immediately. Otherwise, you end up waiting 20 weeks total for your rebate.

Regarding the "Circuit City - WD 120GB Hard Drive for $20 AR" deal:

Bought the drive on 4/24 and just found out that Western Digital denied my $80 rebate. I called and asked about the reason for being denied and they said I failed to send the UPC. I told them I had a copy of my UPC and they asked for details. It was below the drive capacity label and she said that was the wrong one, that there was another I was supposed to send instead and that I am out of luck. I told her I still have the box (which I actually do) and there is NO OTHER UPC on the box. She asked me to check the box again. I was holding the box in my hands and I told her again, there is not other UPC, and she said "well I don't know, I can't help you any further." So apparently I am getting screwed on this drive and Western Digital has no intention of sending me the $80 rebate.

If that's the case, I'll pry it out of my system and demand a refund from Circuit City. For $10 AR, it's a steal. For $90 AR, I can live without it.

Did you send it along with the $60 rebate? I just cut out the capacity and upc and sent both rebates in one envelope.

Should I be concerned that I haven't received any confirmation of my rebate status for the $30 rebate on the 80GB 8MB cache drive from staples around 05/14/03?

My other $30 rebate has shown up at rebateshq and it's valid but nothing comes up when I look for it at staplesrebates.com.

Has anyone else got info on their staples $30 rebate for this drive?

Neither one of mine are even showing up yet...see my post a few above this...

I ended up calling them yesterday and they told me to send it to resubmissions, so I faxed it to them and they saud it will take about 72 hours for it to show up.

I would do the same hallf.

Well like I said earlier I resent in my $30 mir for the 80GB maxtor drive and now for some reason it shows up as a $50 check for a $120GB drive

And before you ask, yes I already got confirmation on my $50 for the 120GB so now I have two $50 checks showing up as valid!

This is amazing to me...

In less than 30 days, my FIVE $40 rebates for the Lexmark Z45se printer deal were mailed, processed and checks received. I was expecting to have problems with these (no ink/cable FAR printers), but they turned out to be the fastest ever!

Quick update on the 5/25 WD 120gb deal. Checked the status of my $30 OM rebate and it says

Your rebate is valid and is in the final stages of processing and should be sent to you within the next 30 days.

Sounds like those who went through the initial pain of getting this processed correctly may have made things better for the rest of us

Guess I might have spoken too soon. My $50 WD one showed up as invalid due to incorrect capacity label or UPC code. To keep calm, I had to chuckle. The WD specifically says in the description 2mb or 8mb model. I sent an e-mail so hopefully this will be a quick fix.

Yep, mine too. The $50 one hasn't shown up yet online though.
 

Yup, after I made two calls to Parago for both of my rebates, all $80 in MIRs for the 120GB drive are valid. Let's hope they get sent out soon.

I wouldn't get too encouraged yet. Between the two $30 rebates for the 80gb Maxtor, I've had the status change on one of them twice, and on the other three times. It took about three emails just to get a clear answer as to why each was denied. I can't even count how many more I've had to fire off before I finally got them both approved. I got every excuse from they have no record of one of the UPC's, to only one check per household per item, to I submitted them both for the same offer. When I started throwing around terms like "Federal Trade Commission" and "Better Business Bureau" and "class action law suit" suddenly because I was such a valued Maxtor customer they would extend me the courtesy of creating a new record.

I guess the moral would be don't give up if your being denied. According to the terminology on the forms, they are obligated to honor both of them.

How long do you I have to wait for the rebate check ?

I have few rebates were sent as early as 4-5 months ago, and rebateshq.com record shows received 3-4 months ago. I still havn't received the check. It's still in process, but the record also says, the check will be sent out in next 30 days. Actually it passed more than 90 days. I still didn't receive rebate checks.

What should I do for this ?

Easierrebates suck so bad. I submitted 3 rebates late april, and only one showed received. no one answers email. Who has any luck dealing with them. I wonder if i send them an email threatening to file complaints with BBB will work.
