You are very very lucky to get this. Apparently Soyo has decided to no longer use CPG as their rebate center and has decided to do rebates internally. I had my $35 rebate on the rebatestatus.com site shown as valid a few months ago and it was pulled from the site earlier last month. Dave in Soyo customer service won't release my rebate even though I have email from CPG showing my rebate is valid. They want a freakin' receipt or some other proof. Like the rebate center's email isn't good enough for them. So I have to wait for the database with my information to be transferred from CPG. They say the database will be there soon but WHO KNOWS if that is true..then they have to import it into their database. COULD TAKE WEEKS. this sucks...almost unemployed and I can't get $35 from Soyo..I'm thinking about going down to their Fremont HQ and giving them a piece of my mind.

I bought the Logitech Cordless Elite Duo from Circuit City after a pricematch from office depot back in January and sent in a Logitech 20% off Cordless Rebate w/ all my necessary stuff on time. Its now 4 months later and nothing. I checked my rebate status at RebateHQ and can't find my rebate on their database. What should I do?

Call Parago/RebtesHQ at one of the number listed below. They can look for your rebate. Sometimes they key in your name wrong when they initially enter it into their database. Also, they are behind on fulfilling Logitech rebates because of technical difficulties.

IO Magic, very very long rebate response. I bought an IO Magic CD-RW drive on "Black Friday" 2002 from Circuit City. I mailed in the rebate coupon ($30) the next day. I just today got the rebate check. It took a very long five months to get it.

I had a rebate from last December 2002 that I haven't received yet. I actually forgot about it. The thing is that I may have forgotten to mail it and got lost in the mess on my desk. I have copies of the rebates with me still though.

My question is can I still redeem that rebate? The rebate is from BB for $25 on a Sony Clie.

I just opened an FTC complaint yesterday about these rebates for purchases from Fry's on Nov 29 and Dec 27:

All of these rebates were to be paid within 10 weeks of submission. I tried following up with CPG and got nowhere, sent faxes to Fry's that were "lost" and the telephone number listed on the original coupon never worked.

If you are also waiting for a rebate from these people, file a complaint with the FTC. FTC regulations prohibit vendors from extending the fulfillment time for a rebate with out customer agreement and the more complaints the FTC gets about a specific company, the more likely they are to follow up.

You might have better luck if you file a complaint against Soyo and Fry's with the CA State Attorney General's office. The FTC will not normally take action on individual rebate complaints. Supposedly if they get enough complaints they will investigate and sue like they did with Iomega, Philips and Prime Peripherals.

heh..rec'd a Buslink $20 from Buslink was a BB offer from December on a Buslink CDRW(got a LTR48246S ..)...and got a WalledLake from that 40GB Maxtor 7.2k that had a $20(WalledLake) and a $30 from parago/rebateshq..that part still....processing...

After 2 follow-ups (one resumission at Jan by fax, and then one with mail at Feb), finally they (rebateshq) said the rebate is closed and that's nothing they can do for the Best buy PNY $30 for GeForce4 ti 4200 at Sept 2002. Call BB same story.....
They "never" have any record of my submission....

I guess i will file some complains but can write this off....

Sent in Imation 50 cd-r $20 rebate to OfficeMax over two weeks ago. The web still says documents not yet received. It seems like they may have been conveniently "lost". I was lazy and neglected to send the documents via certified mail. Even worse, I used the original receipt and UPC without making copies. I still have a copy of the receipt that was given to me by OfficeMax. But I would need to get a copy of the UPC by going back to OM, buying the Cd-r, copying the upc, and returning it. If anyone got in on this deal and has a copy saved to disk, I would be very grateful if you could private message me. Thanks.
