Post the latest information about various rebates, here. If you want your posts to be helpful, keep them factual. If you believe there is a problem with a specific rebate, do your homework and learn the facts before you post. DO NOT speculate about what may or may not be happening.

The most helpful posts include:

1. Verified contact information (mailing addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, names etc.) for rebate sources. Active links always help.

2. Accurate details of the kinds of proof of purchase and other documentation required (UPC codes, receipts, etc.).

3. Significant updates and changes in any of the above info.

Hint - To find info about a particular rebate, use [Ctrl + F] to search for key words, member names, etc.

1) Read rebate requirements before you buy the product or as soon as you buy the product to be sure you meet the eligibility

requirements and you know the mail-in dates.
2) If you are buying a product and the rebate is online, download and/or print the rebate immediately. Some online sites will

remove rebates as soon as the sale/promotion is over.
3) ALWAYS make good copies of everything you send in for a rebate.
4) Complete all information requested on rebate form in a legible hand writing. You may want to use all caps.
5) Provide all documents requested on the rebate form.
6) Put your rebate documentation and copies in a safe place and follow up on the dates they are due.
7) Call about your rebate if you do not receive it when it is due.

Just received TWO rebates today:

Viking $25 for 1GB SD card from Buy.com, mailed 03/29/06, received 05/02/06 for 33 days.

Connect3D $25 for X800GTO from Monarch Computer, mailed 12/03/06, received 05/02/06 for a day short of 5 months. There was a problem with this one in that Monarch dates the invoice on the day it ships, while the rebate was good on Black Friday only. Anyways, rebate was handled in-house at Connect3D and they let me resubmit using the packing list, which shows date ordered. Had this happen again with another Monarch order, but I knew to send the packing list instead of the emailed invoice the second time (though haven't received it yet).

I got a $50 HP rebate in record time & a $20 eVGA rebate rather timely too.

But Linksys is screwing me over. Had two sent in at the same time. One got "lost" in the mail. And apparantly with the second one, the date 4/4/2006 no longer lies between 3/8/2006 & 4/5/2006...

I know the feeling. Just got denied for a rebate because of exceeding the household limits - apparently 1 is excessive now. Thankfully, a call cleared it up. Good luck with yours!

I just got a card from Logitech saying that the G7 I bought from Amazon was at a "non qualifying store."
I have to resubmit if I want to see the 50 bucks back.
Anyone else get this?

Anybody know Evga's rebate number? I needa call them and ask why my rebate isn't in the system yet when they received my express mail with tracking number on it three weeks ago. Thanks!

Anyone had these processed? I ended up calling RebatesHQ and faxing in my submissions as they never appeared in their system (over 6 weeks). I had two separate rebates from different promotions, so I seriously doubt they BOTH got lost.

Edit: Note that they were both entered into the system 24 hours after I faxed them in, and they are under manufacturer name "Memory Pro."

Ok, next rebate problem is with FujiPlus at Newegg.com. $80 on a 19" LCD I bought over 6 months ago. Newegg has een trying to get in contact with them as well for me for over 6 weeks with no luck. My advice...do NOT expect to see a FujiPlus rebate, and definitely do not expect to get any warranty service. In other words, do NOT buy their products.

I am an attorney based in Los Angeles and am investigating the rebate practices of a company called Dura Micro, Inc., which markets products under the name AcomData. AcomData has offered a number of large rebates on products marketed through a variety of retainers, including Fry's, Best Buy and CompUSA. The products include external hard drives andfirewire drives, and the promised rebates range from $35 - $70.

We are aware of numerous instances of persons who never received their rebates, received the rebates after very substantial delays, or who only received the rebates after making repeated followup inquiries and requests.

Anyone get their $15 from Sapphire (rebate period ended 3/31/06)?

Of course Sapphire doesn't appear to send out e-mails confirming receipt of said MIR nor do they appear to supply a link to a rebate center.

I'm getting tired of waiting.

I mailed my $30 ATI X800XT rebate in 5 weeks ago.
After not finding it at www.web-rebates.com/ati I emailed support.
They stated they had not received it yet.

If I am lucky, web-rebates has a backlog and just hasn?t processed it yet. If I am unlucky, web-rebates.com had a backlog, and threw it away so they could inform ATI they were staying current.

Rebate checks are coming for $40 even though rebate says $50. Rebate Center is no help; sent a message this this guy; you may want to do the same.

Thanks. It may come in handy with a Dept#75765 OCZ that the center said no such dept number....
