Since you received the denial by email, call the number on your rebate form (you do have copies of everything right?) and talk to a CSR and explain your case. You will be talking to someone from rebate-zone who handles lots of rebates for many companies. Tell them that the purchase date was on 11-23 and that you have copies of the Fry's.com packing slip/receipt, the rebate form and UPC barcode. That Fry's packing slip/receipt should show the sell date on there. Most likely they will correct it over the phone. They also might ask you to fax the copies to them. It's hard to say. esquared, thanks for the reply. I am afraid there is no contact information on the rebate form, other than the p.o. box #, that is why I posted here to begin with. Yes, I do have copies of everything, just not sure how to proceed with them.

Allisom, thanks for the reply. I did send it to that address, except it was po box 15102 as you stated. Typo on my part. There is no phone number on my copy so the info you posted should help thanks! I will contact them tomorrow if possible. They may be closed right up until Jan 2??

You can go to order tracking at frys.com to get another receipt/invoice. I always highlight in yellow the purchase date on my receipt/invoice to make sure they get the right date. Sometimes I think they purposely pick the shipping date so they can deny the rebate.

The only requirements are:
Purchase any two or more Logitech products from any participating retailer(s).

Purchases must be made between 11/16/07 and 1/31/08. Request must be postmarked by 3/01/08 and received by 3/8/08.

Download this form and mail it, along with the ORIGINAL UPC codes from product packages, and a copy of the receipts (with the eligible products circled).


I have bought Logitech products with rebates from both places before (separately) and received my rebates so I do not see any problem with it.

Thanks, I didn't know if Fry's was a participating retailer. Hmm...on the actual rebate form ( http://bundleup.logitech.com/pdf/Rebate_C.pdf ), it asks for copies of the UPC code instead of the original. I already sent the original UPC codes for rebates, do you think this 10% rebate will still work?

The link says original UPC s but your rebate form says copies. I would take a screen shot of that first link in case they give you grief about sending in the original bar codes.

The $30 rebate from XGBox Computer Mod Accessories from buy.com was almost a sham. They disqualified the rebate because I used the packing slip for the receipt. I had to raise a big stink over it to them before they decided to come to their senses.

In the future, when you buy from Buy.com, you can print a receipt from your order. This is what I've always used for my rebate with buy.com purchases.

Use this link here, click on the order lookup and when you give them the info, there will be a link that will allow you to print a receipt from your order. You're fortunate that they accepted a packing slip if they asked for a receipt.

Not if they didn't specify what needs to be on the receipt. The packing slip often includes all the information a receipt has.

I am just pointing out that the rebate companies can be very specific about what to send in. If they asked for a receipt but you send in a packing slip, they can deny you. It doesn't matter what information might be on the packing slip. I've seen people denied because the form asks the sender to circle the price on the receipt and was rejected because they didn't do exactly that.

I ordered a Corsair PSU from them back in August with 2 rebates, one from Clubit, the other from Corsair. The Clubit rebate was processed quickly. Velocity Fulfillment, the rebate company that handles Corsair rebates, just sent my rebate check out.

Anyone have any experience with any of the cooler master rebates where the rebate form indicates a limit of 3 items?
I purchased those Gemini II heatsinks, got 3 of them, and put all 3 UPC codes on the same rebate form. This was purchased from Newegg. Newegg told me it was OK to do since the rebate form said there was a limit of 3. Anyway, I know Newegg will help with rebate problems. I'm wondering if you are supposed to put one UPC per rebate form.

I understand where you're coming from. I've heard stuff like that happening as well. I'm sure you agree that just because it's been known to happen doesn't make it a wise choice for these companies to piss off customers.

The difference here is that whereas the rebates that were rejected because a circle wasn't placed correctly failed to follow explicit directions, it is arguable as to what constitutes a valid receipt. If they don't define it what a receipt is, then the dictionary has to define it, and the dictionary definition of a receipt isn't as particular. As long as they didn't specify that certain information has to be on the receipt, then anything that can pass as a receipt (ie. proof of the purchased item) should apply.

I'm bothering to write because his thread exists to warn other customers of any sharp practices a company might engage in, and I think being rejected for things like this shouldn't be the case, and I would like more people to fight for their rights when their rebates get rejected in this fashion.

From what I read over at FW, they're very slow at getting the information up on the site and sending checks. (Early Dec submissions just recently showing up.) You can try the support # but I don't see a toll-free one. Good luck!

Call the support number that allisolm posted to make sure they received your submission. It took 3 months to get my rebate from them. It never did show up on their tracking page.

I called the number that allisolm posted and spoke to two different ladies a few days ago. They fixed my problem and I can now see my rebate on their status page. My IP35-E rebate was the Thanksgiving newegg promotion that had the wrong return address on their form. They did say they were backed up but one of the ladies (Irene I think) found my paperwork on her desk.
