I've always had good luck with Antec rebates. Very slow.............. but reliable. I have done 6 Antec rebates since the last BF and the last one still didn't show up in their system at rebatestatus.com after 6 or 7 weeks. Many times they don't get it in their system for 4-5 weeks so I let it slide until that couple extra weeks.

I called the Antec rebates phone number listed on the copy I had, explained what I did and the CSR made it good on the phone without me even sending in my copies. Agreed, it's going to take a couple extra months from when I sent but they took care of it without any grief on my part.

I have had good service with their customer service on their power supplies. Since Jan 2007 I've sent in four broken SP series power supplies (not good). They replaced them all within a week or so and a couple of them were even upgraded to a better PS. One Basiq and one Earthwatts, (that's the good part).

I have had good experience with Antec, usually. I have done right at 38 Antec rebates in 2 years. The last two I have had to call on. In both cases, I saved screen shots that reflected their web page indicating they got it, and a certain estimated check mail date, then today, all of a sudden, no estimated check mail date is shown. That's when she claimed a post office delay in getting the original paperwork to them.

Now as for RMA, no problem, I have done 3 of them, and got a free upgrade on one PS

It's so odd how the only mail I don't get is rebate checks. Must be a mail conspiracy :roll:

If you still can't get your check I would suggest filing a complaint with CA state attorney generals office, BBB and FTC then send Foxconn an email to let them know you filed the complaints. I've had to use this method when all else fails and it always gets results from the manufacturers sponsoring the rebate except when their company is going under.

I filed a complaint with the BBB on Gigabyte... Gigabyte ignored them. I will file with the FTC and MD state attorney generals office now.. thanks for the idea. ... this has to do with the $300 rebate from black friday on thier sucky water cooling case.

I think it's about time I stopped buying OCZ products with rebates. Had an issue recently with a delayed shipment costing me a $35 OCZ rebate because they only allowed for 12 days between purchase date and postmark date.

Well, they now allow only 10 days between purchase date and postmark date, weekends included. This means if you order just before the weekend, the e-tailer doesn't ship right away on Monday and you got ground/cheapest shipping method, then you're basically out of luck.

I have $95 of OCZ rebates that are borderline at exactly 10 days. I ordered on a Saturday and Frys.com didn't ship until Wednesday! I basically had one day to send in my rebate.

What next? Require a postmark date 24 hours after purchase? :disgust:

EDIT: This might be something concocted between Frys and OCZ, since the retailer and manufacturer always works together when offering rebates. I just looked at an OCZ rebate from another e-tailer and it gave 20 days, which is much more reasonable. Conspiracy? Collusion?

I finally got my Antec Rebate from that deal (1/19) yesterday.
During the same time I got a CoolerMaster P/S with a 50 dollar rebate, and I got it last week.
Rebates are taking longer than 90 days these days.

Just sent off my OCZ rebate on a 2X2 kit of 1066 Reaper HPC. Ill let you know how it goes..they say 10-12 weeks. Ive never dealt with an OCZ rebate company before...

Abit IP35-E Motherboard, Newegg purchase for rebate promo period 02-01-08 through 02-15-08. Rebate mailed about 3 1/2 months ago shortly before the 03-07-08 deadline, $30 rebate received today 06-15-08 without any followup necessary.

I got KAV FAR from Fry's and sent in the rebate form on June 5th. I got a notice from www.myrebateonline.com on 6/17 saying the rebate had been approved, with check to be sent in 8-9 weeks. This is the 2nd Kaspersky rebate I've done. I'm just posting because I recall hearing rumours about them. I think the previous one I did was sent to a different address. This one was to Bensalem, PA.

Update: My $50 KAV rebate arrived 7/18. I have no problem with Kaspersky rebates or MyRebateOnline.

Had to jump through hoops for a rebatestatus.com HIS 2600pro videocard submitted on April 20.

Resubmission 7/11 with scan of form and UPC wasn't enough. 8 weeks later had to call newegg and rebatestatus 3 times.

This is an official warning on HIS videocard rebates...

Yeah i have noticed Antec rebate's have gotten really slow, here is a example.

1. purchased EA380 380watt PSU $50.00-$25.00 Rebate 5/27/2008
2. received PSU in about 5 days
3. procrastinated on sending rebate but got it in the mail about a weeks before 1 month deadline, so about 6/20/2008 at the latest.
4. got email saying rebate received and check would be ,mailed in 12 weeks on 6/27/2008
5. got email saying check was mailed 9/30/2008 on 10/2/2008
6. still have not received check on 10/12/2008
7. expect check this week

thats 3 1/2 to 4 months, when form said 12 weeks max, whic is less than 3 months.

Not a big deal, i expect to receive the rebate in a few days, but the funny thing is i have done about a 1/2 dozen rebate since the ANTEC rebate and already received all of the checks back on those items, and 1 rebate fron EVGA only took about 2 weeks from the date i mailed it to get the check back, almost a record for me, i once got a rebate in 11 days.

ANTEC needs to get a new rebate house or just stop doing rebates.

Oh yeah and i have RMAed a ANTEC PSU it was a smart power 350watt that would not run any PC, and i got back a EA 380 brand new in the box in about 10 days, so that was a nice upgrade for $10.00 it cost me to ship in the old one.

Great service, great PSU's, but there rebate's are lacking.

I agree that the Antec rebates are slow but I would rather have them come in 16 weeks than have to call. I know the form says it takes 12 weeks but for them I expect a little later and I give them the extra 4 weeks. I have done probably 12-15 Antec rebates with this rebate house and I have never missed one.

As a matter of fact, I had a 50 rebate for the 430W True Power Trio which didn't show up after 8 weeks so I called the number on the rebate form. They usually get them in their system within 6 weeks so I called. They didn't even ask for copies, they did it right over the phone when I gave them the info from the receipt.

On tbogstad's response to the RMA's. Antec has an excellent RMA system. Just remember to keep your receipts. I sent back all four of the Smart Power series PS's I had purchased in the past 3 years because they stopped working. Received all my replacements in less than 10 days after I shipped them back. I too, received better power supplies in two of the RMA's. I received a 350W Basiq for a 300W Smart Power and a 380W Earth watts for a 350W Smart Power.

anyone have any recent success in getting rebates from MyRebates411. Its surprising that Biostar still uses them as the rebate processor. I am contemplating on purchasing a tpower i45 mobo that has a MIR processed by MyRebates411.

BFG came through!!

Bought 800W PSU & mailed rebate on 11/11/2008.
Two days later, news that rebate house going under. No replies to several emails.

Tonight I get:

We are pleased to inform you that your rebate, with the Basic service level you selected
has been processed and approved on Jan 22 2009 9:12PM.

Your Check will be mailed within 8-10 weeks . Please contact us if you have any
additional questions.

At this point I'm glad of any chance, I'd kissed the $40 goodbye. Kudos to BFG for following up on this.

This is FYI only. Asus did not send out my rebates (2) although it's been more than 3 months.

Small amounts, about $10 and $20 for the router and a DVD R/W. But I will not do rebate with Asus again, although I have bought plenty of MBs and stuffs from them.

I hope my experience was limited and not widespread.

ASUS rebates weren't handled by CPG as far as I know. Have you tried http://www.status-now.com/ to check the status?

I am fairly cetain that I received an email confirming the receipt of the rebate and then nothing. Frankly I plan to give up on this. Since it happened twice to me, I just want to warn others to be careful.

I do think Asus make excellent products and it reallly pains me to report a negative experience.

Just a little update. I finally contacted Asus and the lady I spoke to said that they indeed had my submission and she will cut a $20 check for me for the router 520U. The other rebate was for a DVD-RW and they have no record of it and neither do I, since I did not do LESSON #1.

I hate rebates. But I am thrifty and there lays the dilemna. I am really torn.

Just a note in case anyone else also purchased a copy of vista from newegg around turkey day with the newegg visa card rebate promotion. I had called about 2 months ago and newegg said their legal department was still negotiating a rebate fulfiller. I just got an email that my $50 visa card rebate is being processed.

Parago finally paid the $50 rebate for the Logitech QuickCam bought at Circuit City in November.
After 6 months (multiple emails to Parago - Filing with the BBB, FTC, Attorney General of Denton, TX, letter to Juli Spottiswood-CEO of Parago)

Just don't give up!

I received a second (duplicate) $25 rebate from ZOTAC for the video card I bought in September 2008. They already sent me a rebate check for $25 in November 2008 and now in June 2009 they sent me (apparently mistakenly) a second one for the same card (I checked the promotion number on the check).

I'm still undecided if I should deposit it into my account. What if it bounces from ZOTAC?

Anyone had similar experience?
