Looks like D-Link rebates are going to Mesa, AZ (CPG?) these days. Try calling 800-279-4784. Here is D-Link's web page with the current rebates: http://www.dlink.com/../../instant-rebate.html. You also may want to check the rebate center websites listed in the second post.

If this is for the free RAM Friday morning I think they were only giving out the rebate forms when you bought the RAM because they wanted to control it for the 3 hour sale. Nobody has been able to find the rebate online. Your best bet is to go back to the store and ask for it. Maybe you'll get lucky and they will not have one and will give you an "instant rebate".

man, like everyone says, stay the hell away from circuit city...i have 7 overdue rebates with them (haven't checked how many i have pending that aren't overdue yet)...they just never freakin come. i called them up on several occasions, but all they say is my check will be printed "soon"...

Samsung $40 mir on 753df. I haven't gotten it yet I don't think. when I check wheresmyrebate.com it doesn't show. Lets say I did get the rebate would it be listed if they already paid me ie does it keep a record of rebates after you got and cashed them? Anyone else with this rebate get it and it is still listed in their record??

I received the $20 Samsung 753df rebate about a month ago and yes it still shows on their website. I have sent in several other rebates recently to TCA rebates and they are not showing up in their datadase. TCA seems to be one of the worst fulfillment houses around. Several months ago I sent in a $10 Keyboard rebate from Officemax and they would not honor it. They said that it had to be postmarked in 7 days from the purchase date and my rebate request had been postmarked 8 days after the purchase date. Crappy bunch of folks. I have stopped buying any rebate products that go to this address because of the substandard service.

My Samsung SyncMaster 753DF show up on wheresmyrebate.com. Its $40 and i purchase it at 10/17. The status is approved but the estimated check mail date is 1/14/02!!!:disgust:
I will suggest using firstname or other name as your last name and try search again. They always switch around my name.

I submit all the materials glued together lightly with Uhu stick glue because some rebate processors have sent me letters saying that I had left out a certain required item.

Tracking Down Long Lost Rebates

Call the manager of the local store with your problem, in a polite and calm fashion
Explain your problem, this rebate is overdue by X time, gave me this rejection reason when it shoudl be valid, etc.

Ask for them to give you the money.

This worked for me with the Staples $100 rebate from the HP 8X cd-rw and DLink MP3 player from last May. I contacted Janna at the Staples on Cascade in Portland.

It was a big hassle in contacting staples so many times though, and staples is suck, but by keeping all your forms and wiating a long time you can get your rebates.

in case anyone cares... I called INet Cam this morning about the free web cam deal this thanksgiving (after rebate) at BB. They said the "IBM product regsitration card" thing was a typo and the rebate will still be valid as long as you send everyhting else.

If anyone is owed money on KB Gear rebates, it looks like you can kiss those rebates goodbye. The number on the rebate form 1-877-776-3493 tells you to call 1-800-531-2842 (KB Gear tech support) They don't know anything about rebates. They did however give me some other numbers. 1-952-656-6000, no answer and 1-952-656-6029 (Mike Etten, cust support/relations), his mailbox is full. I was also given Mike Etten's email address mikeetten@kbgear.com, no reply from him yet. I have also written Staples and Amazon the vendors that I purchased the two KBGear items from, no response from them as well. It doesn't look good.

Arizona screwed me out of a $30 Cendyne rebate from Amazon last January (said I didn't include the serial # when in fact I did AND included the serial number bar code as well.. what more do they want?) Resubmitted = Nothing.... after ONE year after submission. Can't get anyone to respond calling or emailing

They also appear to have screwed me out of $30 DLink 804 router rebate from August like the other poster here... Also bought from Amazon. Wonder if it has to do with Amazon+Rebate+AZ = NOTHING? Havn't ever gotten a card or anything.

I *seem* to recall, my $30 rebate *WAS* listed on their web site as "received" back around September 18th. Then Nimda hit ,and I thought I heard mention here that they claimed they lost everything and would be unable to pay anyone rebates. I dont know if this is true, or they made it up, or a troll posted it here, but anything is believable in this rebate hell we choose to live in.

Anyway, I've been screwed out of Plasmon rebate $25 (best buy 97), Eigercom rebates ($20 - best buy 98), PNY Rebate ($20 - BestBuy 99) Bell& Howell rebate ($10 BestBuy 2000) [see a pattern here???], and now $30 TWICE from Amazon/the Arizona rebate center So that's over $200 in rebates screwed out of when I followed EVERY rule there was.

I want my $60 from AZ and I want it now... but know I'll never see it.

Except for the day after thankgiving at Staples B+M and CC Online, I have not bought ANYTHING just because of a rebate since August as I'm so mad at these places screwing with us on all of them.

No you are not and it's very annoying. And I don't think they care to fix it, either.

Between that and TCA (www.wheresmyrebate.com) not showing the latest submitted rebate, it's rather infuriating.

Hey, has anyone else noticed that CompUSA has FINALLY stopped printing the credit card number in the clear on your receipt, and now only print the last 4 digits as most other retailers do). I guess all the email complaining about it finally did some good (at least I can dream that it did!).

I will have to contact Amazon about this Jam-it rebate. The rebate center received my submission on 8/3/01. Guess I will never see the $15. I also never received the $20 Prime Peripheral modem rebate. I went to Staples and they gave me $20 store credit.

Finally got my Logictech soundman $40 rebate. It did take 3 months though.

Yes a friend got 2, But I still am waiting going on 14 weeks. The express group is handling the Pioneer -sears rebate. See the top of the page for the express group if you don't have already.

i was talking to the OD manager & he told me that the manufacturer PAYS OD, than OD pays the customers

SO THE RETAIL STORE or OD MAKES THE PROFIT IF THEY DO NOT PAY. THE MANAGER ALSO TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE BEEN HAVING A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH EXPRESS GROUP PAYING REBATES.

i just want to let everyone know that if u do not get the OD rebates, just go the the store demand u get pay for the rebate there in CASH or CREDIT TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

How about the HP C215 camera rebates, from when CompUSA had the cameras on sale last April for $139.99 - $40 rebate = $99.99 total? CompUSA's rebate processor at that time (CPG?) never sent me the rebate check, and I eventually had to call CompUSA's own rebates department. Sent them photocopies of all required forms and materials in early September, and recently called them again. Supposedly the rebate is now sitting in a pile of aging ex-CPG rebates that still need to be "processed." Nearly 7 months and counting... and could be an unknown number of additional months before I have any hope of seeing the rebate, according to the CUSA drone I spoke with. Could end up taking > 1 year, assuming the rebate check ever shows up at all.... To make matters worse, I have since moved, and considering how incompetent I believe these people to be, I doubt they've updated my address correctly in their systems.

Anyone had any luck getting CompUSA to get off their asses and honor their rebates? I'm not averse to mailing a physical letter of complaint to CompUSA headquarters (or wherever makes sense), if that's what it takes...
