I called today too and had ONE of my $50 checks expedited (hopefully). However, I also have VT $30 GF3 rebate from the end of OCTOBER overdue and they said that they don't have the money from VT for that check, but they have it for GF3 Ti200? WTF? Then I called again later about my second $50 GF3 Ti200 MIR and they said that systems were down and to call tomorrow. Bastards :| >>


Just to follow up. Got my promised $50 check today (about the DAMN time!!! :|). Still waiting for the second $50 check and $30 check... :|

Anyone else get the reject on the Microsoft Money 2002 rebate in conjunction with TaxCut? Letter said that I already received a rebate for a similar promotion. I did this back in 2000 I think, but that certainly was not mentioned in the rules.

They will be getting a call on Monday...

I just received the $29.99 check for Money 2002 a feew days ago and I got the $14.99 check for Taxcut a couple of weeks ago. (But I've never used one of these promotions before.)

I will say that the paperwork for the combined rebates was a royal pain. I had to make a special trip to Office Depot and talk to a CSR and then a mangaer before they were able to produce the correct rebate forms. And the combination of boxtops, boxtops copies, UPCs and UPC copies was annoying. This was one of those rebates that made me wonder if it was worth the bother even though everything was "free".

HAS anyone heard about their BESTBUY thanksgiving INETCAM (IBM webcam) $40.00 rebate?
INET ppl arent taking any calls for rebate. the recording says leave a message or submit a form on their website and someone will get back to within next business day. I have both left a message and submitted my request on their website 3 times within 2 months & no one has ever got to me via email or phone.
I wonder what is the definition of their "next business day"

<< Here's a quick update on the $25 Fry's Electronics rebate for the "free" USB camera. Today it's listed as being mailed on 3/15/02 so we'll see if it actually shows up. It's interesting that the status changed a couple of days after I called to see what's going on.

On my more paranoid days, I suspect that these rebate fulfillment houses keep stacks of rebates in a pile labeled "Only process if they call"

Back on 10/28/01 I bought one of those "free after rebate" digital cameras that Fry's is always advertising. Wheresmyrebate.com shows my $25 rebate submission as "approved" with an estimated check mailing date of 1/25/02.

Since we're well into March I called this morning to ask if they had mailed the check. The CSR told me that there's been a processing problem (apparently for everyone) and that my check had not been mailed yet and the "estimated check mail date" is inaccurate.

Did you submit 5 rebate forms for each? I believe you had to submit all of the forms to get the full amount.

Send an email message to customer support at buy.com -- give them the details of the order and ask for a copy of the rebate form.

And in the future, download the coupon as soon as you think you might be interested. You can always delete it later but many vendors remove them immediately.

What number did you call and what address did you email to get your OfficeDepot Maxtor 40GB $40 rebate?

I sent my rebate in 12/18/2001. A couple of weeks later I got an email (with my last name mispelled) with a "personal reference number" saying that my entry was being processed and has been qualified. Haven't heard anything since.

Oh, and just yesterday I received $200 in Staples rebates (Visioneer $80, HP Printer $20, Veo WebCam $30, HP 315 DigiCam $50, Sandisk 64MB CompactFlash $20)

I was just told by Dell customer service that the rebate for the PowerEdge 500SC server will not go through for me. I placed the order online on March 8th (and have the email confirmation), but some Dell rep put the order in a week later on March 15th - which is outside the window for the $250 rebate. WTF!?!?! I am so steamed. Dell sucks a$$! I don't know what to do. I don't know what my credit card can do about it. Maybe I should just send the damn thing back. Ideas? Please PM me if you can help. Just wondering if anyone still has the mailing address of this rebate. I would very much appreciate if someone could post it here or email the mailing address of this MS $30 rebate. I bought the Joystick in Dec. 26 and accidentally threw away the part with the address still stuck to the box. It expires on june 30,2002 so there is still time, however, I can't seem to find any at Fry's, Compusa, or any other retailer. Guess everyone sold them or MS requested them back.
