i got in on the 24x cendyne cdrw deal from OM & i just got an email from cendyne claiming i did not mail out my rebate request before the deadline. that is utter bullsh!t. i bought the sucker on 3/17... mailed out on friday 3/29. now... according to my post office, mail goes out @ 5pm. and they are also open on saturdays. unless the post office not only did not get my stuff out at 5pm on the 29th... they didn't do squat with it the next morning either? not even a stamping (aka -postmak)? am i within my rights to request a copy of the postmarked envelope from cendyne? i feel like they're just trying to f*ck me. bastUrds...

Watch out! Imation is trying to not pay the $25 rebate on its 100CDR spindle. They just told me that "they didn't receive the UPC." After asking me if I sent it, which I did, they asked if I had evidence. A scan... but of course to them that is not evidence. There is no way to prove that you sent it in! They said a scan didn't prove anything, and that "a hundred" of these have come in without UPCs. Yeah, right. Some moron is either accidently loosing them in processing there or they are "loosing" them. I'm sure 100s of people are committing fraud and sending these things in to them... I spoke with the supervisor, who said to call back in 7-10 days so that they can "research" the matter. Don't let them say no!

Just got off the phone with wheresmyrebate.com concerning the Visiontek GF3 Ti200 $50 rebate from BB. I had an estimated check mail date of 3/8 on the website. When I called the guy said that the rebate had been extended and it should be mailed out mid to late May.

What a bunch of BS. I'm going to Best Buy today and demanding my $50

I just got a rebate coupon in the mail from Microsoft and FedEx for $100 off retail full or upgrade packages of WinXP Professional. Just a heads up for those looking to buy retail or can scrounge up a good coupon & rebate deal. You can't miss it -- it's a 5"x11" multicolored "card" with the MS and FedEx logos splattered around.

I *think* it's from signing up for their Win2K security update CDs a while back but I'm not too sure.

Chanzalu: please post an update regarding the 785epx issue when you get additional info or a resolution. I confirmed twice with the rebate center that there are no limits on that rebate. I just did 10 of them myself, so I'm a little concerned.

I don't know if it helps, but we purchased 6 Epson Stylus Photo 785epx's in December from Circuit City and sent the $100 digital camera bundle MIRs. The MIR form that we used had no per person/company limits so we address them all to our company address with our company name. Arounf the first of February, we received all six checks on the same day. Epson even called us to tell us that they had processed the rebates about a week before we received the checks!

Oops, put in the wrong month. I sent it in the beginning of February. Sent it in around the 10th. I still don't see my rebate on any of the tracking sites though so I'm kinda curious. I hope I didn't send it to the one in New Rochester.

Just got a denial letter from BestBuy on the $20 rebate and $10 Gift cards for the 18gb Western Digital Hard Drives from
March 9th. Even though the stores were displaying the rebates and the rebates printed on the 9th of March, they are
claiming that the drives were purchased outside of the rebate window of: 10th - 16th.

I'll be taking my documentation to BestBuy tomorrow...

Hah! That b!tch at Best Buy lied to me. I brought back an item once to do a return/buy back thingy and she told me I didn't have to. She said that since its so close and BEFORE the window, they'll honor it. I told her I'd like to do the switch anyway. She was cute though.

I got the rejection of a rebate email from McAllen,TX on my CC PNY $20(off a 512MB pc133 stick) submission...not even gonna call on this one but will be toting the postcard and my paperwork to CC B&M for it....p.s. AlerT !! Look at most of these newer rebate forms noticing a trend towards shorter times for you to turn the rebate forms and supporting documentation i.e 7 days to time of postmark..15 days to time of postmark. Just a headsup as sometimes you might be having a shipping delay of your item(remember your purchase date..get the picture..) happened to me on one of the latest OM CDRWs I had ordered.Purchase date and shipped/rec'd date was a week apart and the form required 15 days..well the day it came I had to leave town for 2 days..when I got back noticed the form said X days ..well X days was only 2 away...not enough time to test the CDRW and determine if a keeper or not..so I hauled it back to OM unopened for a return.

Has anyone faced a problem getting a Best Buy MIR when you did a pricematch on the item after the week you bought it. I am just wondering , as I bought a 120 Gb WD Hard drive for 299 with a 100$ MIR and followed it up with a pricematch done the following week. I wanted to know if I should use the drive and send the mail-in or just return the drive , as a 100$ mir , if rejected, would land me in the soup.

HAS anyone heard about their BESTBUY thanksgiving INETCAM (IBM webcam) $40.00 rebate?
INET ppl arent taking any calls for rebate. the recording says leave a message or submit a form on their website and someone will get back to within next business day. I have both left a message and submitted my request on their website 3 times within 2 months & no one has ever got to me via email or phone.
I wonder what is the definition of their "next business day"

They screwed me too. They said I needed an "original rebate form." The pdf file that Officemax listed on line (which I wish I still had the link for, I bet anything it was linked directly to Imation, as they don't mirror that stuff) wasn't good enough. I am never buying another Imation product again.

Officemax keeps telling me that the "rebate person" isn't in, but they will contact me, which doesn't happen.

Has anyone else been denied a Cendyne rebate from RebatesHQ/Parago? I got the 32x12x40 drive in this thread from OfficeMax on 3/24. Then, I mailed in this rebate with valid purchase dates of 3/03-3/30. Now they're claiming that I actually send this one in!?!? Um, gee, not only is the first one that I actually sent in for $30 and the one they claim I put in for $20, but the $20 doesn't even apply to the date that I bought my drive: it's for 3/31-4/28! This is so BS, I am 100% sure that I mailed them the right rebate.
