Anybody receive their Audiovox Maestro $50 MIR yet? Came from Staples/Parago. Mine was approved on 3/29/02 and it hasn't changed status since then. Tried calling them with the number provided in this thread (1-888-856-9210) and no luck. Sounds like I get transferred into an office with somebody typing in the background. Also tried a couple of emails and nothing yet.

Funny, because Parago/Staples has been one of the more dependable ones. SIGH!

Still waiting on my $65 rebate for buying an Envision EN-710e 17" CRT color monitor. RebateStatus.com shows it is valid, processed, and mailed. Email from the processing house gives the usual excuse of overwhelming demand.

Filed complaints with the FTC and BBB. Wish me luck.

$25 from Office Depot for the Pacific Digital CDRW 16X 10 X 40. sent 4/19.

I purchased a Siemens Efficient Networks 5-Port 10/100 Ethernet Switch and PCI 10/100 Ethernet Card from Comp USA.
I was supposed to get a $10 rebate on the Card and $20 on the Switch.

They say they won't give me the $20 on the Switch because I was only supposed to get one of these rebates.
I told them if they only are going to give me just one of the rebates then I want the $20 and not the $10.
Also, I told them I felt the add was deceptive and that if they don't send me my $30, I will take this up with Comp USA and the MN State Attorney Generals Office.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Has anyone else had theirs OK'd?

I'm really getting sick of the B.S. with some of these rebates.

the other $15 has shown on tca (wheresmyrebate.com), said 7/2 expected date. Ususally they sent 2-3 weeks before that. So i am expected it to come at next week or so.

Seems to be a universal date.

I hope the $15 will go through as well, although the $25 already makes the deal worth it, I think.

Got 3 - $10 rebates from TDK. Which brings down the price of 150 cd's to $14 shipped from buy.com. Went through without a hitch. TDK is great since they let you have up to 3 of the same rebate at a time, and it came within 1.5 months with no hassles.

No word on my $50 audiovox/staples rebate, online system should have been here 5/24, no response by email yet. Closing in on 2 months total.

Circuitcity said they mailed my $45 UPS rebate. Haven't seen it yet, 2 months so far.

TCA rebates FINALLY sent my $30 ATI Radeon rebate. We are talking almost a 7 month wait. Just like Compusa rebates, I'm officially putting New Rochelle on the list of rebates to avoid no matter how good the deal looks. The total time I've had to spend massaging every rebate through their system doesn't come close to making it worth it anymore. I'm looking at another 7 month wait on my Visiontek GF3 TI 200, which is retarded.

After calling them, I was told that they only have a copy of my UPC, but they need the original one. I am pretty sure I send them the original UPC. What shall I do if they lost my UPC? They told me they won't honor the COPY.

I ran into the same thing with the Siemens Efficient Networks 5-Port 10/100 Ethernet Switch and PCI 10/100 Ethernet Card from CompUSA. They originally said my rebate was valid then they sent me a card sayings it's invalid. I have not called them yet but plan to tommorrow. If you look at the instructions on the rebate it says to send the "UPC label (s)" and "copies" of the receipt. They are making them plural meaning we can send rebates up to $30. If I don't get anywhere with TCA I will go back and complain to CompUSA.

Yeah I just got mine today, keep an eye out. And like he said the check is void after 6/25/02 even though I received it 6/05/02 -- this warrants a general warning in the forum I think.

Invalid staples rebate on the 5/19/02 Deals: 128 MB Sandisk Compact flash

rebate info: $20 Rebate on a Sandisk 128MB Smart Media (SKU 480124) OR a Sandisk 128MB Compact Flash Memory Card (SKU 463438)

After checking the status online (I started the rebate online and mailed the rest, so they gave me a tracking code), it said INVALID rebate due to invalid UPC. I took a closer look at the copies that I made, and on the "not an invoice sheet" the SKU # of the Sandisk 128MB Compact Flash Memory Card is listed as 380981 (although this was the EXACT mem card for the rebate). Luckily, I saved the packaging slip for the flash card, and it lists the sku# as 348236, but under "cust sku" it says "463438", the valid sku. It also lists the UPC code that I entered online for it, 619659015213, proof that the UPC i submitted was indeed valid

I called the staples rebate center @ 1-888-856-9210, and after waiting a while (since that's the only way to get to a live customer service guy), the guy said my rebate was invalid, but he later validated it after I told him the above story.

I submitted mine 4 or 5 months ago. Cant quite remember when but it was a very long time ago. A week after that deal at best buy had it at 49.99- 50=free.

I submitted around 2/14-2/15 which was a few days after the free deal. Both of mine disappeared about 2 weeks ago too i guess. I havent gotten any in the mail yet.

I just got my $150 rebate off my $299 WD 120 gig hd at best buy. Amazingly fast since I only sent it in less than a month ago. Thank god it came in too.
