ALSO, around the same time as the phillips 100pk deal at staples, office depot had a deal on a 100pack of imations w/slim cases. I sent the rebate crap in the next day and have had yet to hear or recieve anything.

If I don't get my rebates, ALL HELL *WILL* BREAK LOOSE.

You gotta always read the fine print on rebate forms.

henny...i forget which one but either staples or officemax required you to cut out the S/N...and I'm thinking it was the cendyne deal at officemax....

Here's my lousy luck for the Pinnacle PCTV $50 rebate from Compusa in early April:

* Sent the complete form, receipt and upc off on April 9, 02

* Contacted the New Rochelle rebate office on June 27, 02 to find out why I hadn't receive my rebate: "Well, maybe it got lost in the mail, please send in your photocopies - I mailed the photocopies off later that day.

* I called again on July 17, 02: "We still don't have them, maybe they got lost in the mail?" ARGH! They then told me to fax the photocopies over.

* July 29, 02 - New Rochelle says the photocopies never arrived by fax. I call Compusa Corp and fax them the forms.

* Aug 2, 02 - Compusa Corp: "It's awaiting manager's approval - we'll probably be mailing you a check for $50 by the end of the week."

* I call today and dammit, I'm told it's been sent off to the processing center at New Rochelle. New Rochelle says they don't have it and if it is being processed, to give them at least two more weeks before it appears in the system.

4 months later and still no check I wish i had never sent off that rebate and simply returned the tv card instead - I've never been impressed with it.

Yes, I got the same problem, the offer was from7/14/02-7/20/02 for 256MB DDR.

Yes, I got the same problem, the offer was from7/14/02-7/20/02 for 256MB DDR.

Call Parago and tell them. They will correct it online immediately. They did for me.

Same here.. I remember all the controversy over this rebate. There were ALOT of people saying "You'll never get a $50 rebate, it's only going to be the $20 (or was it $30?) rebate that was advertised in the paper ad!" Fortunately they were incorrect

Well, I found another PNY/RebateHQ rebate $ amount screwup. Just received my rebate acknowledgement for the PNY 256DDR $20 rebate from a CC sale. They have it listed as a $15 rebate on the Parago website. Looks like I will have to call them Monday and get it corrected.

Got the Sandisk 20$ rebate for memory stick yesterday, purchased at Compusa, from Mesa, AZ. Sent it in 4th week of May.

Gah, I'm waiting for the same one (128MB Smartmedia here), and the number that's on the rebate form leads to a "this number is owned by Global Fulfillment Services Inc. and is not in use" message. :|

Oh, got the CompUSA Siemens Router / NIC $40 rebate today. It went to Siemens Networking Products, Dept 02-47351, McAllen TX. 1-866-206-7167

edit: On a whim, I tried the Sandisk rebate phone number again today and voila, it went through(?). Now they say it still hasn't processed but expect it in 2 or 3 weeks. :|

Anyone else having a problem getting their $40 Pacific Digital 32x12x48 cdrw staples rebate? According to their website, mine was received and valid on 6-11-02 and "Your rebate is valid and is in the final stages of processing and should be mailed to you within the next 30 days". Obviously it has been over 3 weeks since the 30 days has passed and they have not even indicated that a check has been prepared. I e-mailed staples customer service to inquire about it several days ago and have not received any response. Any one else experiencing the same problem with this rebate? Any suggestions as to where to go from here?

Still waiting with no change in status. Still no response to email. Called them last week, they repeated what it says on the website and apologized. Still no change. Any other ideas or options. Just sent them another email, threatening to write to consumer protection division of the state AG's office. 8 weeks is supposed to be 8 weeks, it has already been more than 8 weeks. Too bad, Staples used to be pretty good on their rebates. But I guess I will still buy from them as long as they offer the coupon codes!

New Rochelle, whereismyrebate.com are crooks. They try to deny your rebate for many untrue reasons hoping you will get frustrated and give up, their customer service sucks, they cheated me out of 50.00 rebate on the Visontek Geforce 3 TI200. Try to avoid rebates, they are a scam. I filed a claim with the BBB and the FTC.

Anybody bought multiple PNY products at CompUSA lately and filled out one rebate form? Well, I did and now Parago, who is handling PNY rebates, is only paying one of the rebates. I purchased PNY CDRs and RAM two months ago at ComPUSA. I only received the $8 rebate check for the CDRs. When I called Parago they didn't know anything about the $10 RAM rebate even though it was on the same form. They wanted me to send a copy of my rebate info back to the original mailing address. I decided to bring it to CompUSA and complain to them. They are investigating.

So it looks like if you buy more that one PNY product with a rebate at CompUSA they have all the rebates on the same form with the same offer#. Between CompUSA, Parago and PNY they are starting to bother me. Parago has already messed up twice with the rebate amount, posted $15 when it should have been $20 and now this. Better check your PNY rebates closely especially if you sent multiple rebates on the same form.

Just got my $120 Outpost.com/Western Digital rebate on the 1200JB I purchased in May... I was worried, as I couldn't locate my copies of paperwork (this was the first & only time!) and my info didn't show up on the WD rebates page... but it came!

Also, got my Pinnacle $50 check last week...

Yeah, I wish. They nmust hate me. I emailed them and they declined it. Called them and they said to re-submit. I faxed them the info and called a week later to check on it. No record of my fax. So I re-faxed it again today. We will see. Apparently they have already issued the $15.00 check so they have to issue an additional $5.00 check. We will have to see how long this will take.:disgust:

Verified Fraud from TCA, I didn't think they could ask for "original" reciepts and what not.


My rebate was "under investigation" so they denied it. Claim they need an original reciept, I sent the packing slip, but they couldn't have a copy of the packing slip, they had to have the original packing slip. The specifically asked the CSR if the only reason why it was denied was because of the account being under investigation, she said that was it. It was the account, not the rebate. Now they say the rebate is closed and I can't get my money, its not their fault. They never sent documentation about my rebate being denied and their website was not updated until last week that they even had it.

received the rebate on Monday August 12th. I think i sent it the last day of the rebate's time limit...

still a good deal without the rebate =D
