This whole "recall Walker" stuff just wreaks of hypocrisy.
Just one state down in Illinois the lead story in the newspaper today is how Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn is planning to fix the budget problems in Illinois. A plan to reduce pensions and medicaid. Cut services for hundreds of thousands of people. Raise the retirement age. Make public employees pay more towards their pension, and reduce the pension payout amounts.
Why does Illinois have such a monstrous budget problem? Could it be the tax breaks Gov. Quinn has handed out to the large corporations operating within the state? Motorola? Sears? Caterpillar?
When he campaigned for governor, he ran on a platform of exactly none of those things.
This just a couple weeks removed from Gov. Quinn making public comments against Gov. Walker's approach and record, along with Illinois public unions holding rallies in opposition to Gov. Walker.
Yet those who hate Wisc. Gov. Scott Walker, are understanding of how the Democrat Gov. Pat Quinn is running Illinois.
If Walker wins, will you admit that Wisconsin thinks unions are public enemy #1?

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett Wins Democratic Nod to Face Walker
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett won the Democratic primary in Wisconsin on Tuesday, the Associated Press reported. This means Barrett will go head-to-head with embattled Republican Gov. Scott Walker in the rare recall election on June 5.
A Marquette Law School poll released at the beginning of May showed Barrett and Walker in a statistical dead heat.
If Walker loses the election, he will be the third governor in U.S. history to be recalled from office. He is the first governor in Wisconsin's history to face a recall election, which was initiated after the governor moved to curtail the rights of some unionized state workers.
His being faced with a recall election shows how mistaken Walker and his cronies were in assuming their victories gave them the unchecked ability to blatantly overreach and storm the walls of the public unions with arrogant impunity. This situation also exposes the shortsightedness and insanity that the newly elected Repubs displayed after being blessed with the power to abuse and bully at will, of which they exhibited with such obvious glee.

Since Empiral Commander Walker has come to power: my property taxes have gone up, 18 teachers from my school district lost their jobs last year, 22 more this year. My childs class size 2 years ago was 17, this year its 25 and next year they're telling me probably 32. Our state has lost more jobs than any other state. Tell me again how this is good?

I hear ya brother!! All my property taxes also went up too while this Jackass is into Corporate welfare we are losing more jobs then any State in the union.
But we have one of the lowest unemployment rates vs other states in the union. So its expected, if you're intelligent and understand economics.
And this makes losing the most private Sector jobs in the Union better how so we can make the Unemployment rates higher??
We rank 17th btw for unemployment rates/State.
It's looking like it may cost us $16 mil for this recall as a state..... so yep it pisses me off big time!
