Recently, I asked here for a point and shoot because I wanted something simple and basic for my needs. I wanted quality for a good price.
As a present, I got one the other day. Even though Im thankful for it, I took some pictures and wow....they are pretty bad.
Details are lost at close range. You see noise and again detail lost as soon as you zoom in on a picture that doesnt have optical zoom. It had NOTHING to do with my previous camera which was also a simple point and shoot but was WAY better, with better megapixels.
There are two sides to this: First, Im grateful and thankful and it has a sentimental value that I got this camera as I wanted another point and shoot that is compact so I could take pictures when gong out. On another side, you look at the pictures and they can easyly pass off as being from a mobile phone.
So, in your opinion, as a photographer and a friend, what would you say? Saying "This camera doesnt live up to the qualty I want" is out of the question so please, do not bring that up.
Thank you
