recommend a computer for my friend!!!

I really got alot of help from you guys (finding the good deals), the last time I built a computer. So I thought I would ask if you guys had any opinions on a good computer build, so we could build a system for about 150-300 dollars for the things he doesnt have.

He is going to be using some old stuff so this is what he needs:

Processor heatsink/fan
Motherboard (prefer sdram but, sdram&ddr is fine)
Case pwr supply
Floppy drive
Video card doesn't need tv out(can't skimp here, he loves his games).

any opinions or comments (that aren't flaming of course) are welcome

Hmm, a computer on the cheap. How about:
ECS K7S5A/Durn bundle@[url="http://www.mwave.com"]Mwave[/url]. That's around ~110 w/ 1 year warranty and cheapo heatsink. the board accepts both type of ram so that's a plus...and the warranty WILL protect you in case you get a flaky mboard.

$299.00 for a 1Gig system at CompUSA this week, might want to point him in that direction this week. It's got a year warranty I'm sure, and can extend it for cheap if he is worried about warranties.
