Recommend a Digital Camera

Greetings eveyone,
I am looking for a digital camera. I have heard the Intel pocket cam is pretty good, so I may purchase it unless someone can give me reasons on not to buy it. If the Intel pocket cam is suck, are there any other better cams better than it, but around the same price?

The Canon PowerShot S10 is an excellent camera!

I'm in the sub $350 area unfortunately. I doubt there will be many quality digital cameras for that amount?

I just got the Fuji FinePix 1300 and I am quite plesed with it-Got it for $200

You can really do better than that! One of the major things to look at when buying a digital camera is resolution, and buddy that camera sucks! That POS doesn't even get to 1/2 a megapixel. You should look elsewhere. You want at least 1 megapixel IMHO. Here's a ZDnet review of a few good camers.

bacillus, I will be taking pictures both indoor and outdoor and mostly of people if that helps at all. Just recreational use really.

I just got the Sony DSC-30 and it is a pretty cool camera. You may be able to get it online for close to $350. The LCD display flips up and rotates so you can do all sorts of crazy stuff with it.

Look into the Kodak DC280 on closeout. Great camera, same as the new dc3400 but a lot less money. Even the 3400 may be in your price range.
