I read through most of that huge stickied LCD buyer's guide and think I like the Samsung 244T or the Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW..
I was surprised to see my current monitor, the Samsung 214T listed as "Unsuitable for gaming" since it is decent, although I did notice that games like WOW and WC3 were a bit "blurry" on my monitor (I couldn't read signs for example if i was running) compared to a friend's CRT...
So, I want:
1) good for gaming (I have a radeon XT850PE, is that sucky by today's standards now?). i don't play wow, but i can see myself playing rts, fps, oblivion in the near future
2) component video, to hook up gamecube/xbox360
3) something > 23", ideally widescreen
4) < 2000$, ideally <1500$
5) this won't be my main TV, I have a projector for that. i could hook up my consoles to the projector, but i don't need such a big screen for solo gaming.. and playing fzero on it gives me motion sickness
so many of these review sites seem to concentrate on cheaper monitors... do any of you have experience and recommendations?
thanks!
