I am looking to get a USB TV Tuner for my laptop (which unfortunately is now my main computer). Express card tuners are out of the question since I have no express card slot.
I'd especially like to hear from those who actually have used the products.
I want to be able to:
1. Pick up standard and HD Channels using a cable coax connection. I may or may not be using an OTA antennae.
2. Have ability to pick up QAM channels would be a plus, but I must be able to pick them up via coax, not antennae.
3. Work with WMC.
4. Work with Windows 7 64-bit (currently have Windows Vista 64-bit).
5. Be able to watch HDTV channels without stuttering.
6. Not too cpu intensive.
Note: I recently picked up an KWORLD ATSC TV Stick UB435-Q, but I am unhappy with it and I am sending it back.
Here's a few I'm considering (my notebook specs are below):
Hauppauge 1198 WinTV-HVR-950 Hybrid Video Recorder
Artec T19ARD
FusionHDTV7
EVGA inDTube ATSC/NTSC USB TV Tuner Stick- <DOES NOT SUPPORT QAM
OnAirGT
My notebook specs:
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit
CPU Type: Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 2.1G
Screen: 15.6" Widescreen (16:9)
Memory Size: 4GB DDR3
Hard Disk: 500GB 7200 RPM
Dedicated Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M
